Well it's not been a perfect month, but I did get back to my Flylady routines. Some days I have been sick and couldn't do everything, but even missing a day or two the house has stayed pretty clean. I've gotten back to the zone cleanings each week and that is working really well. My kitchen is in much better shape (decluttered pantry...yay!), my dining room table is cleaned off and ready for anything, and my living room has had a thorough cleaning this week. Feels so good! The house is far from perfect, but I'm getting things taken care of one flybaby step at a time.
Now I just have to keep things going! And get back to some other routines...like working out!
10 days since I posted here and I'm doing okay. I've kept up with my daily routines and I'm doing about half of the weekly Flylady tasks. Hard to get it all done while working, but at least I am chipping away at each area of the house and making progress! We have a Cub Scout meeting here on Sunday so that's extra motivation to keep things up and looking good! I also had a babysitter here the past two nights while DH was traveling and I was teaching. Because I have our afternoon and evening routines posted for the kids, and they have their chores picked out for the week & posted, and the meals are planned for the week...it was pretty easy for her to just jump right in and help out. She was able to keep the kids on track because she knew what they needed to do.
I'm making progress! Good routines are in place and I'm getting a lot more done! And enjoying a cleaner, more organized home, more time to rest and work out! I still have more to learn and figure out, but I'm making progress which is the key!
Well I'm not exactly back on track, but getting there. I did my Flylady routines and I am making progress. We'll see how next week goes...I'm sure I'll have to tweak some things before I settle into what really works. But it feels good to be making progress!
I am easing back into some cleaning routines and I filled out my $ tracking worksheet for the week so far. I still have more to do to get some routines in place, but I'm getting there! Flylady.net has been helping me a lot again and I'm trying out the Cozi calendar with it...we'll see if I can figure it all out and make it work!
Dorothy...good for you! That's one I need to do too...but I have to get this flare under control a bit better first. Keep us posted on what you do and let us know if you need encouragement!
I need to get back to my cleaning and money routines. With the kids home this summer and totally different schedules each week I'm so off track that I'm not sure what needs done when anymore. So...the kids go back to school next week and then I'm restarting all my good cleaning routines, back to tracking my money and bills, and back to menu planning, etc. I think once I get back into all my routines I will be able to work out again too. I will let you know how it goes...the kids start next Thursday so it will be a goofy week still, but we need to get back into some routines for them too.
Will work on getting back into shape and exercising again and not just doing yard and house work
