So here is how it works:
okay ladies! Welcome back, veterans of the Personal challenge! Also, I want to welcome any and all the newbies!!
Be sure to EDIT YOUR ORIGINAL POST with your updated totals so the pages don't get to long. You all are doing awesome!
Don't forget to come and toot your own horn when you reach a goal with a second little note to let everyone know you have reached another mini-goal. We all are busy and often forget to check out others stats.. so shout out with joy when you reached your next goal so we can CHEER you on!! AFter you have tooted your own horn, don't forget to follow up with your mini-rewards. I can't tell you how much in the past these have been such a motivator. These mini-rewards may seem like a pain, but I have learned they are extremely important, essentials, for me (and others) to keep going. Sometimes they are the "seeing" the work you have done, while you are waiting for the pounds to get lost! These rewards can be small, even if it is taking the time to paint your toe nails, a trip out of the house by yourself, or new makeup.. whatever. (but notice these are non-food treats. ) Treating yourself with something special so you will give yourself double the good feelings and make you want to do more!
Be sure it is soon as you possible can after you reach your mini-goal, that you treat yourself to something so it sticks in your mind, and doesn't gets put off and put off.
Next, let's all be sure to encourage others to get going if they haven't posted in a while. There is nothing like a personal note from a team member saying, "ummm excuse me! I HAVE noticed you have been MIA, you okay?" to pull a team member back on their journey.
And finally, let's remember to cheer each other on and celebrate each others achievements of our mini-goals. It is called the second-hand good feelings (LOL.. I am all about the good feelings! LOL) and I am telling you from experiences, it WILL motivated you to get moving!
You all are doing so good! You can do it, even if you have to stretch a little to reach those goals! Just keep going, keep going!
