Yesterday was the Heartbreaker 5K, 10K, and Half. Bill ran the 5K and I ran the 10K. Bill's 5K started one hour before my 10K, so while he was running, I was walking the waterfront to pass the time and warm up my legs. Did ok in the 10K, then got home and cleaned up and went out for grocery shopping and errands and lunch. That number for Calories In would normally freak me out, but compared to Calories out? I'm good with it!

Personal goals: Yes. Managed a short 2.1 mi run, tackling a hill in the neighborhood that I've never been able to run up without stopping. I did it last night, and considered that victory enough. My eating has been creeping up lately, with far too many carbs and snacks after dinner. Must get a handle on it soon!

Personal goals: Yes. We walked part of the RnR Half route in the morning to convince myself that there's nothing to be afraid of... ha!... and then hit the gym for ST. The rest of the day was pretty lowkey. I've busted my cal range several times this week so while I don't expect a loss, I'm frustrated by a gain that isn't warranted, at least not by the numbers. Sigh.
