I was disappointed to see the 180 water minutes a week was eliminated as a team goal. I thought it was a very appropriate goal for this team & I would like to see it reinstated. I am continuing to track it as a personal goal.

CHERRIEST, the former team leader has returned to the site form a health hiatus and is now back in charge. She has altered the team goals since her return.

You can still track the 180 water minutes/week as a special personal goal; it just won't accumulate to a team total.

What would you do if you knew you could not fail?

Hey, I went to track my 60 minutes water aerobics and it says the the goal is no longer associated with team. Did we eliminate that?

The challenge is to personally do 180 minutes of water exercise of any kind--water aerobics, water walking/jogging, swimming, playing with kids in the pool, anything active & wet! you can sign onto the challenge either at the bottom of the team page in the goal area where it says "join this goal" or on your "other goals" page You track it on your sparkpoints page right underneath your main exercise minutes where it says "track other goals". If you are signed onto the goal, you will see the current week slots for every team and additional goal you have set up for yourself. You track by clicking on the appropriate day and entering the number of minutes in the little window. You can put minutes in for past (or future?) days; you don't have to do it every day. Every day you track each of these "other" goals will earn you a sparkpoint.

Even if you know your minutes for the week won't add up to 180, it is still worth tracking them, because they still contribute to the overall team total for the month. So do it for yourself; do it for the team; make like a certain brand of sneaker and Just Do It! It's why we're on this team, right? We get wet to get our exercise kicks!

ok - is there a place to sign up for this team challenge - I didn't see one - so that it can show up under Other Goals and I can track or do we simply put it in a message in this topic? What is the full team challenge - 180 mins a month for all exercise or just aquafit?

LINJARVIS--Whether or not you are able to personally get in 180 minutes a week, it is worth tracking the amount you do do, because every minute goes toward the team total!

new to the team and kind of late in the month to join this goal but if it's up in July, I will. I do 70 mins a session and try to go 4x/week.

The month is 76% gone. We're at 74% of our goal minutes for June. We might make it by the end of the month, but not without everybody

#1--Keeping up the good work. Getting wet and tracking those water exercise minutes whether or not you personally are doing 180 per week

#2--Kicking it up just a notch. Try to get in (and track!) just a few minutes more than last week. Go to class 10 minutes early or stay after for a few. Take the kids to the pool and play with them. Swim a couple of laps--or a couple of extra laps.

This cold and a business trips with late nights kept me out of the water except for about an hour this week! I was able to use resitance bands in my hotel room. But, Monday is coming and a new week will mean more time in the water!

I'm working on it myself doing at least this week alone doing 240 mins. I'm back to build up my laps at the gym also. Last friday I think I scared the life guard when a friend of mine and I was doing laps and I admit I haven't been swimming in 2 years and before I finish the second lap I had to stop and take a breath. I will try to spend a little more time at the gym this week because were having some remoding at my house so while their working I will be out at the pool and just enjoying life with friends and having fun. Today, June 15, we are only 41% of the way when we should be 50%. Come on--we did this last month and there's even more outdoor water fun this month!

Even if you can't get to a personal 180 minutes per week, every minute you track does swell the overall team's monthly total.
