The challenge is to personally do 180 minutes of water exercise of any kind--water aerobics, water walking/jogging, swimming, playing with kids in the pool, anything active & wet! you can sign onto the challenge either at the bottom of the team page in the goal area where it says "join this goal" or on your "other goals" page You track it on your sparkpoints page right underneath your main exercise minutes where it says "track other goals". If you are signed onto the goal, you will see the current week slots for every team and additional goal you have set up for yourself. You track by clicking on the appropriate day and entering the number of minutes in the little window. You can put minutes in for past (or future?) days; you don't have to do it every day. Every day you track each of these "other" goals will earn you a sparkpoint.
Even if you know your minutes for the week won't add up to 180, it is still worth tracking them, because they still contribute to the overall team total for the month. So do it for yourself; do it for the team; make like a certain brand of sneaker and Just Do It! It's why we're on this team, right? We get wet to get our exercise kicks!
