Reading a 'Lords of the Underworld' series by Gena Showalter. On book two of three now. Has anyone read them? Warriors that are possessed by the Demons from Pandora's box, etc. I tend to read when I can't sleep...then I just get interested in the book and before I know it I'm almost done with the book, and it's time to get up and go to work. Admittedly I have to get my books from the library, so my resources are somewhat limited compared to bookstores. So, there are a TON of great books I haven't read yet. I keep perusing the isles and looking for authors that have been mentioned on these threads. Unfortunately I haven't always been successful, but keep looking and finding others, lol.
Question on the challenge....is it read and finish the book to count it? Or just spending time that day reading? Some days I might read 3 novels but other days, like this week finishing up my thesis before the semester deadline, Ive been reading chapters here and there from a couple of books without actually finishing anything.
I wonder what kind of challange we could do, or if it should pertain to exercise, or maybe reaging? I would like to see everyone read atleast one really good book a week, that way we are all doing something for ourselves, and getting some quiet time every week! what do you think about that kind of idea?
