Unfortunately there is no way to focus on one area. (I've read this elsewhere from a SP coach). You have to just keep at it working your whole body until the last stubborn inches come off. The stomach and the butt are the areas that will probably be the last to go, it all depends on your genetics/body type.
sorry this is so late. i always forget to check the other forums.
keep doing your cardio, but i would suggest full body workouts. plus the more muscle you build, the higher your metabolism gets, thus more calories burned. pilates is also great and i highly suggest it. if you have netflix there's a pilates workout online that i do 3-4 times a week. if you don't have netflix you can get a 1-month free trial and try it out.

ok. so i REALLY want to slim down my stomach and my butt, however in the gym i only do cardio (about 40 min) and upper body exercises (chest and arms). this normally takes about an hour to do (and that is as much as i can do a day)
so my question is: should i forgo the arms and chest exercises and only focus on my stomach and butt? should i shorten my cardio and add on more exercises for different muscles? or is cardio enough to slim the butt and stomach?
and if i am totally off the wagon here please tell me so
