I was really starting to wonder something. I know the procedures for how to start a new student organization on campus, but i'm not sure how i'd do it.
for one thing, i'm an officer in two and totally swamped, but i'd love to start one or help one along related to fitness, like a group that goes around campus and walks trails together or bikes around or whatever (would be interesting, that's for sure, and there's basically a nature preserve surrounding campus as it is).
Anyway, i was curious if any of you have student organizations on campus that are geared toward fitness and healthier living (i don't mean a school gym, btw). I wondered if you knew what they did or if they had any special group accountability or if they just met together to do fit things. Also, if you wouldn't mind having a fitness student org on campus, what would you want from it? i'm kinda just looking at ideas and such. I doubt i'd make it in time for the student orgs expo or anything like that (happening august 31st at our campus), even if i did get 5 signatures right off the bat, but i'd love the chance to try and develop something like that.
