So I'm going to be a freshman this fall... And I've been freaking out about what I'm going to be eating in college! I'm living on campus and therefore am going to be eating in the dining halls... (I'll also have a mini-fridge and microwave in my room, but we get money to spend in the dining halls, so I'm basically forced to eat there for most meals). There are 2 all-you-can-eat buffets and a few a-la-carte places.
I've checked out the menus on their website, and the only healthy stuff I'm seeing is salad and maybe a chicken breast here and there... I'm used to living at home where me and my mom prepare a variety of really healthy food daily.
What do you guys eat in college? Do you get bored of sticking to healthy food all the time? Should I steer clear of the buffets, with their plethora of unhealthy choices (even if it does have a salad bar)? Any advice would be much appreciated!
