Fer sure, I hear you. I don't think I have an actual slip up day, but the cafeteria is always stocked with unhealthy crap. Half the times I give in. . .like tonight haha, I got seafood pasta. Of course, it tasted like crap, so I tried to spice it up with some dried out baked chicken, didn't work. Ended up throwing it away and eating a bit of left over rice I cook. But usualllllly, I do the same thing you know. Just stock up on yogurt and granola or salad and I just have what I want to get in mind so I can go in and get out as fast as I can
When they do put out healthy alternatives it's always good to stock up on those, like when they have Quinoa out instead of rice, or tofu, or miso soup, yeah. Sort of a rare thing, but when it's there haha.
Does anyone else have days where they know they're going to have trouble? For me that day is Thursdays. Thursdays are "Nugget Night" in my cafeteria, so I know that pretty much all the food they serve (with the exception of salad) will be fried, greasy and not healthy at all. Add that to a weird class schedule (I have a kinda-dull 3 hour class so I always find I need to munch on something during the break to wake up) and I finally realized this morning that I always stumble on Thursdays. Today I'm being proactive though, and brought tupperware to lunch to stock up on a healthy entree to have for dinner instead of going to the caf.
