i found that just by asking at any restaurant they will print you up the specs on all their meals. i was looking for high protein low fat at Chilis and the waitress printed me up a thing showing all the info for each meal. it helps alot. i just try to go by a general rule of replacing starch with veggies or salad

Wow these fast food places are just banking in on college campus's. I find that so cool that you ate salads. I need to do that but I hate going to a fast food place to buy a salad for 6 or 7 bucks when I can make one for less. You must look amazing!

These are great! It makes it really hard to eat out with friends and stuff if you don't know what you are eating. I've ordered things before thinking that they were a good choice and then finding out later that it was loaded in calories, sodium and fat. This will make it easier to be healthy when my friends and family want to go to a fast food place.

I have to agree about Chick-fil-A. What an amazing restaurant for great tasting food and low calories. And the spicy sandwich is even less calories than a regular sandwich.

This is so great!! Thank you for all the valuable posts! The only contribution I can make is Tim Hortons for Canadians. You have to go through the steps in the nutrition calculator to get the nutritional facts, but its great cause it allows you to tailor your order. http://www.timhortons.com/ca/en/menu/nutrition-calculator.html

My college, unfortunately, did away with the cafeteria and brouhgt in Taco Bell and Pizza Hut. Luckily, they also brought in Subway. I liked the cafeteria because I could get salad for about 2 bucks, but for now I will have to stick to subway!

If you go to Taco Bell, try the Fresco menu. It's yummy, low calories, and low fat. I was surprised when I saw the nutrition facts.

I use a book called "Eat This, Not That!" by David Zinczenko. It has a ton of common restaurants with info about each. It compares and contrasts two potential menu items. It's great! I love it!

Does anyone know if it is possible to gauge calories from a meal at a non-chain restaurant? Last night, I went to a high end Greek restaurant and had roast lamb with an olive saffron salsa, and tomato pie, and I haven't a clue how I might go about gaging the calories...I am stumped...

Hi and thank you for posting these facts about fast food. It will really make things a lot easier to know just how many calories are in the food I am eating, and let me eat maybe a few fast foods that I would have otherwise missed out on because I was too chicken to risk the calories.

I'm not sure what that has to do with "nutrition facts" but I've heard some people use baking soda to get the gas off. I don't drink beer so I don't know about that.

While the full menus are below, Healthy Dining Finder has listed what's healthy good for you including the nutrition facts and several more restaurants. Link is below:
