S- Strengthen those muscles 10 minutes or so a day. The bootcamp videos on SP are great for this, or do your own thing. Just remember to rotate muscle groups each day!

H- Hydrate yourself daily. 8 glasses of water a day minimum! Let's flush winter out of our system and get beautiful skin to boot!

O- Oxygenate that blood with a good 30 minute cardio workout at least 3 days a week. Take a hike, bike, walk, swim, whatever works for you. A planned workout!

R- Rest for at least 7 hours a night. Really, you need enough sleep to lose weight and curb that appetite!

T- Track that food to help control portion size. It really does make a difference!

Now that I've finally gotten a workout in today, I'm ready to start. This summer weather and a prospective time at a waterpark (and my BFF) have me going. I'm just going to post a goal met symbol for each one goal finish starting today.

The last part of the week was insanely busy for me. No workouts, no exercising, didn't track foods, and ate horribly.

I'm starting fresh today.

Ok, so last week ended up being a bust by the time Wednesday came around! BUT - I was doing something right, because I am down from last Monday! Yay! So now I am ready to start. I am going to set up my gps watch that my DH gave me for Christmas and get going. I am also starting the rookie 5K training plan. I have another 5K on April 28, and I'd like to be able to at least jog parts of it. So I will start today!

Getting back in my calorie range is gonna be my my biggest challenge, I think. Today's best sanck was a few Breton wheat crackers and roasted red pepper hummus. Yum!

I'm in! So to be clear - 10 minutes of muscle movement a day, 8 glasses of water a day, 3 cardio workouts of 30 minutes or longer 3 times a week, 7 hours of rest a night, and tracking our food and exercise daily? If that is it, I'm up for it, starting today - but officially on Wednesday.

Time is running out to be ready for lighter, more baring spring and summer clothes! Time for a 'crash' course to make big changes in a short time! Or a last big effort for those of you who are way more ahead of the game here than me. emoticon I'm proposing the SHORT challenge to get us ready for those summer tops and shorts and-- emoticon season!
