My goal was to stay within my calorie range and go for at least a 15 minute walk.

So far, so good on the calories, and I walked uphill for 30 minutes and then had to come back!

Okay. I'll try this again. Get OUTSIDE raking or working in the garden today. emoticon

I went for a walk around the courtyard with mil at the nursing home. It WAS outside! :)

Get some fresh air today!

Oops! I've been working inside and I went to a movie, too! And now I have to run to church to set up communion. Better luck for outside tomorrow, I guess.

Three fruits and/or veggies today. I've been short on those this week... emoticon

They forgot to set out the lettuce at the dinner last night, so I had to eat two servings of fruit cocktail last night, but I made it. lol

Trying to go a little less carbs for me. I don't feel right cutting them out all together, but to have my intake about 40% a day. Been doing pretty good with it for about a week. It's interesting to change things up a bit. Now the scale has started to move again since I've done it. ???? Could be the reason, then again, maybe not????

Just as the healthy lifestyle is a series of small steps, I thought we could applaud our accomplishments daily here!

So, each day post your top focus of the day, and at day end, if you've accomplished it, add emoticon
Let's focus on what we do right!

It can be something like drinking your 8 glasses of water, getting in 30 minutes of exercise, staying away from Coke--whatever.

The small thing you can do today will lead to big changes in the long run! So, post today's focus and let's applaud the small steps, too! emoticon
