Had some granola this morning, but forgot to add fruit. Had spinach, tomato,and lettuce on my sub at lunch. Supper was 1/2 a baked potato and a bite of corn. I'll have to choose fruit if I want a snack later. OH yeah. I had part of a currant/hazelnut dark chocolate bar. emoticon

Yesterday--
Banana at breakfast, lettuce on my turkey burger at lunch, and red peppers and onions in the pepper steak for supper.

Today--
Raisin bran, and lettuce and tomato on tacos. Also served applesauce with the tacos, and surprisingly, they all ate some!

I ate the leftover Mu Shu Pork for breakfast ;-) so I got some cabbage and carrots there. Today was spent in town, running various errands and we ate at a Mexican restaurant--no veggies, lots of cheese~

I guess I'd better go and eat some fruit before bed...

Had a banana and raisins this morning, and peaches for dessert tonight. The wild rice soup had onions, celery adn carrots... Not real strong on the veggies today. And too many carbs. sigh...

Yesterday we had Chinese after church, with vegetable chow mein and mu shu pork--lots of veggies. Then we went grocery shopping and ate an apple and some grapes on the way home.

Today, we'll see...

Had a banana this morning. Should have grabbed some raw veggies at the graduation, but didn't. Forgot to concentrate on veggies!!

Made a pot of chili with lots of tomatoes, onions, and celery for supper. Perfect for a rainy day!

I never got my salad yesterday, but went to work in the garden and my grandson kept finding strawberries and bringing them to me to eat. I think I had at least 2 servings of fruit there, and later had some nice Bing cherries.

We went to Red Lobster last night. I had shrimp and salmon with some sweet spicy sauce. Had a salad and ordered (and ate) broccoli! 2 again! Major accomplishement for me. 3 days in a row.

I was trying to think what other veggies there were, and was reminded that ds and I enjoyed roasted cauliflowerets once. I'll have to look to see what spices,if any, were on it.

I started to reply to this yesterday, but never got back to the computer. Day before yesterday, I had 2 small fajitas on whole wheat tortillas that included onions, green peppers, and tomatoes.

Yesterday I had half an apple, a couple of carrots...hmmm...I guess that's all. Oh, and a potato (with the potroast) for dinner.

I can see that I need to make a salad for lunch today, as I'm slipping a little in that dept.~

I drank a can of tomato juice for a snack today.

Tonight I made coleslaw, AND that broccoli salad with raisins, sunflower seeds and a bit of bacon.

Think I could develop the 2 veggies at a meal habit? (And I'm not talking corn or peas. :P )

Let's post the fruits and veggies we eat each day. I could use some new ideas. emoticon

Last night I made a stir fry with cabbage and thin green beans (Trader Joe got them from France!).

This morning I made a smoothie with strawberries, blueberries, a little banana, and some kefir.


(That 3 in the title was part of the light bulb sign...)
