My family now is one person. I wouldn't mind adding a link to a new recipe, I use SparkPeople recipes/cookbooks. And will be adding a dedicated cookbook for the pressure canner. I think that if the goal is to drink 8 glasses of water a day it will be added to the other goals of the same title. Which makes it simple since my goal list is very long.

I like the post one idea or recipe a week. I think that could provide some invaluable info for everyone.

I like the normal healthy aims but it would be great as you say MrsGwynn to have some new ideas for preserving or even the basic ones which some of us might not know about. Perhaps make an aim to preserve stuff with less than 150 or ??? cals per serving or something like that
As a relatively inexperienced canner, I would love to see a challenge like "Post one preserving idea or recipe per week" That thread would be a great resource to me even though I might not be able to meet the challenge every week! HAH!
That's what this is, a place to throw your ideas out and get a response from others.
Some teams have goals related to the team, and others are healthy habit goals, like drinking your water or exercising x-minutes. We could do either or both.
I thought of putting up x-amount of food a week, too, but I don't know if it would work, for a couple reasons. One, some of us have big families, and some have small ones. Two, some do their canning/freezing as they go, and some in bulk. So, as in my cooking group, I thought if having a goal to try something new once a week? Like, a new recipe or a new method? Or to find a new recipe, even, because you might not be DOING it yet.
