Hey everyone. Sorry I have been MIA for a little bit. I have had a tough couple of weeks with being sick and losing my job.
I woke up this morning and told myself that those things shouldn't affect my motivation to continue my weight loss so I am back.
I weighed in this morning at 149. That's down 3lbs since the beginning of this challenge

Sorry for the delay. I'm 181.5 today, I'm sure it's just water weight. I've lost a total of 2.5 lbs :( It'll be 4.5 soon.

Im 181 today! I have been for the last two days actually. It's really nice to get closer to seeing that 7 again. Once I'm 175, I'm going to get some teeth whitening stuff, as a reward. I can't wait!
I'm 129.2, down two pounds from last week and down 3.6 pounds total.
But I've been sick and have had no appetite, so I don't know if the weight will stay off once I am healthy.

It's definitely great to recognise those patterns! I don't know what it is with me. I don't eat any less healthy on Sunday, but somehow when Monday morning rolls around, I am almost always heavier than I was for the rest of the week.

Mondays are hard for me too, I seem to do well, and weigh on Sat and think WHOOO HOOO then seem to blow it Sunday, so at least I am starting to see the pattern...

Well, weighed in today at 169, so I'm back where I started. That's ok and a little expected because I spent the last week camping (lots of not so good for me foods). But this week I'm back to my regularly scheduled dieting and will hopefully be getting back into my work out routine.

Ok so I was 183.5 today! Which is odd, considering EVERYONE is telling me I look skinnier lol.
Two possible reasons: Aunt flo is in town, andddd I went to fair yesterday and had some ridiculous (but yummy) deep fried food.
I don't think Mondays are my day. I'm back up a bit, to 131.2.
That's up 0.4 pounds from last Tuesday, but down 1.6 pounds total.

Hi I'm new to this team, but I will jump right in and try this since it is still doable. My daughter turns 1 on Halloween, so I would be crazy happy if I lost 10 lbs by then. My starting weight is 212.4.

OK, so I'm down 2lbs to 150....I really pushed myself this week. I am hoping to be out of the 150's by next week. My stay in 150 ville has been 9 months too long...I am ready to move on.
Exercise this past week: M - 7 mile run T - Jillians 30 Day shred L1, walk w/the dog W - Jillians 30 Day shred L1, walk w/the dog, 2 mile run, 5 mins elliptical TH - Jillians 30 Day shred L1, walk w/the dog F - Jillians 30 Day shred L1, walk w/the dog Sat - Jillians 30 Day shred L1, walk w/the dog Sun - 5 mile run, walk w/the dog
Hopefully I can keep it up this week. I am ready to see results.

I went from 210 to 211, I gained one pound but I am ok with it, I have some pms and I am changing some things around!
Lesson learned, do not put it in your mouth if you do not know how much the cal value is, had a bad, bad experience with it this weekend-see log...

Sweet another person. Just wanted to add that I have a dance class tonight and I am excited!!! Haha, it's nice to burn calories while not "working out" persay.
I'm In!! I have been a bum and done nothing for a week but watch my eating so this is a good motivation!

Thank you NILLAWAFERS03, I am so sorry about your back that must be very hard! My knee is like that I just work around it, and sometimes it is hard so I can only imagien your pain!
Quitting smoking was the hardest thing I have ever done and that includes my c-section, it is hell there is no other word for it but when you do and after a bit it DOES get easier! I have pmdd ( severe pms) and now that is the only tinme I want to smoke, I would smoke that week and then quit and then do it the next month, if I could smoke and not get cancer I would, I LOVE to smoke but for the last four months or so I have not and I am really working on it, working out is hard enough as it is...I used meds and they really helped, hang in there!!!
MARISAJOY, Thank you so much for responding, the issue is he gets so upset with me that doing something with him on the 'off days' doesn't really work for then I feel guilty and I work out anyway...sigh, I know he loves me and is trying to help but it just frustrates me, I wonder if anyone else has this issue! I am doing the 30 day shred every day, one day with weights, one day without and the TM... I think I am going to start taking tues and fri's off and just up my treadmill by 10 mins, it means a longer workout but then I have a few days off to heal and yeah, doing something on those days is a great idea....yeah I have to admit it is rough AND he tells me that the avereage person walks at 4.0, God I am dying at 3.9...sigh!

Wow! You have quite the ambitious exercise regime! I could not do that much exercise on a daily basis and keep it up consistently. You definitely deserve an extra day off! Especially if your current workout is causing you pain.
Do you do the same exercises every day or do you try mixing it up a bit?
The other thing I can suggest is, rather than take days off completely, just do a more relaxed form of cardio. Say those days of the week, rather than going on the treadmill, you'll go on a walk with your fiance for 20 to 30 minutes. That way you get a little exercise and some time with your husband-to-be.

I don't think it sounds ridiculous at all! I have a herniated disk in my lower back, so at times I have to do exactly what you're doing. If I am in pain I have to delay my workout a day or so until I am feeling better.
Good job on quitting smoking! I am working on that right now, hopefully I can do that well!
I think in general if you're hurting so much that you can't sleep, you need to back it down.
I have a question, it is about working out, my FH got all over me cause I work out 6days a week, at just a tad over an hour ( circuit training, treadmill-see log) and I have been getting really sore, don't get me wrong, I am an ex smoker and I need to loose quite a bit but last night I could not sleep at all cause I was sore, I all ready have a bad knee so I am working around that, anyway, he got all over me cause I wanted to cut down to every other day...don't get me wrong, I know he loves me and we have been here before ( where I just quit) but I am getting achey when I wake up and I am only 38...So I was thinking of going to 5x's a week and taking Tues and and Friday off and increasing my workout out by 10 mins, can anyone tell me if this sounds like enough??
I would appreciate any advice and I hate to vent this way, I am just not sure where else to ask??

I was thinking about this today, wouldn't it be cool to do a challenge (starting Labor Day), to try and lose 10 lbs by Halloween? Then on Halloween, we can post pictures of us in our costumes, 10 lbs lighter. Basically we'd do a weekly weigh in, alll the way up till the 31st of October. The person who loses the most wins, and may get something cool from me :D
