My living room isn't very big... had to teach myself to walk/dance in a small area
but still having lots of fun with Walk it Out... only have about 300 things left to build
My DH just finished building his town yesterday... now he's going for more clocks and other stuff.

Still enjoying it. But it's hard not to deal with a longer stride--small living room and picky sensor.

Oh my gosh! Walk It Out has finally been delivered today! I tried it out and I LOVE IT!! It's so great - fun and distracting and before I knew it I had been walking for 30 minutes! It felt like 5! So excited to see more of the game as I play it.

Thanks to all the posters on this thread and other Walk It Out threads - I would have never even looked at this game if you all hadn't been raving about it on here!

Sounds like your mat is like my throw rug... it scoots around also if I walk in place on it.
So I roll it up and put it out of the way.
I'm glad to know you have that problem because it tells me I'd prob have it also.
I'm enjoying using the numchuck and will stick with it. emoticon

I like this game. I prefer the mat, but find it constantly scootches around on my carpet - anyone find a way to make it stay in place? I do like the nunchuk for actually walking around, but it doesn't seem to register my steps as well. I also need to unlock more songs, as I'm a bit tired of a few of them. :)

Don't believe everything you think.

Fall down 7 times, get up 8.

I just rented this, and it was really fun. I am not a big walker (unless I am trying to get somewhere), not even with the pedometer and an ipod full of diversion. I meant to try this for 20 minutes, and ended up going for almost an hour.

I guess it gave me somewhere to go!

Walk it Out is fun. My husband got it at Game Stop. I have used the numchuk, balance board and the DDR mat. Once I could figure out how to get the steps to count on the DDR mat I thought that was the most fun. I usually end up using the numchuk.

I use my DDR mat. It registers all the steps better than the Wii balance board & just the numchuck after many tries by me, my daughter & son:-)

I think it's worth it.
My Daughter and I use a numchuck and not the wii board because it's easier for us.
My husband uses the wii board when he does this game because he does not pick up his feet high. That makes it where the numchuck in a pocket does not register all his steps.
This game lets you choose which one you use.
I also like you can walk as long or short as you like.

Gamestop is the only store I know that actually sells it in their stores. The nice thing is that you can go on their website and search for it at your local stores.

After my daughter fell in love with & took mine, I was going to order from Amazon, but I found a used copy for $17 at Gamestop.

I definitely find myself dancing around in place more often than walking. I got mine on amazon.com. :)
