For what it's worth: I read recently (somebody has a website devoted to reviewing Wii games and Nutrisystem, of all things!) that the tennis elbow you get from the Wii occurs because there is no actual resistance (hitting the ball) as your muscles expect. (Oddly enough, when I play I notice the elbow pain mostly when I miss the ball!) Anyway, someone has now come out with little weights that you fit your Wiimote inside (it takes the place of the plastic cover) and this is supposed to help fix/prevent the problem.

Also, let me add that if you loved the GameCube version and are wary about the controls, they *are* different...I like to play with both wiimote and nunchuck, as you get finer control of your character's direction.

Hey hey! I just had a fabulous rained-in Sunday and wanted to express my love for Mario Power Tennis. Now don't get me wrong, I think Wii Sports Tennis is fun, but I love the championship game modes and special power moves in Mario Power Tennis. Yes, for those of you that remember playing on gamecube, it is the same game with new controls...but I get so in to it on Wii that my friends are constantly afraid that I am going to lodge the wiimote in the TV! After a day of playing, my elbow is a bit sore...pace yourself. Anyway, pricecheck says its $25 and change @ walmart or amazon right now, which is a fabulous deal for sparkers looking to up their game.
