I use the biggest loser game as well as the wii fit game. I like the excercises and tend to push harder then the game says to. I also like the calorie counter in it but I still like the one on here (sparkpeople better) Not sure if the wieght loss is accurate. I did the wiegh in and it said 7lbs loss, then I did my wii fit and it said 4 lbs loss. I just go by my bathroom scale for acuracy. I dont like that you have to hold the wii remote in your hand when you are on the floor. They need to make some kind of a holder for your wrists, and the fact that you have to keep switching hands and pocket and such. It is a fun game to get a workout when you want something different. I mix all my workouts to make one. Wii fit 30-35min biggest loser 25-30 minutes and turbo jam for a high intense ending.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. Proverbs 3:5-6

I love the game, even if the calories burned are not well calculated. A few bugs along the way also!!!

But if you take the time to do the fitness program and push yourself to work out hard, you will reach a sweat!! And have fun at the same time!

I am loving this game. I have found out that you need to keep in sync with them or slightly faster and make sure the blue bar at the bottom is almost to the right for the entire session or it will not give you all the icons / calories burned. I can do the side lunges fine and get all 5 but as soon as I do the ones with the hand touches I can only get a couple to come up. PLUS those calories are SO LOW!! I use my HRM instead.
On one of the challenges I picked out I had to switch it to Challenging instead of light. That helped keep the bar up.
The only part I don't like, is even though I picked Jillian as the trainer to see, BOB keeps talking for most of the workout. And I don't like it when "Jillian" says "what's wrong poodle"

Jury is still out on wether I like this game or not. Still working out to it but not sure. Disapointed in the graphics and don't like the remote in the pocket much either. Still going to give it a month and see how it goes.

I purchased the Biggest Loser game for my daughter. We tried it out at her house. I am so disappointed. The graphics are horrible. On most of the exercises you place the remote in your pocket. I finally tossed mine on the couch and it made no difference in my icon. I was exercising more intensely than she , she had just had bypass surg, she burned more calories? So glad we bought this on sale for $19.99. I will stick with wii sports. Anyone else have a reallllly great game to recommend? emoticon

I really like it too, but I'm only on day two, and it's a rest day. I chose beginner and 4 weeks because I would like to try the 12 week program, but I wanted to get used to it first.
The only glitch I've found so far is that Bob (the trainer I selected) sometimes sounds like a record with a skip in it, he'll repeat the same phrase over and over without a break in between. It happened as well with the video healthy tips. I watched one, then another, and then it showed that same one over and over and over again until I gave up on them. The video clips are just those little tips they give on the show before they go into commercial break anyway, so there are few I haven't already seen.
I'm really SO curious about Jillian's new game, but after the last one I'm waiting for a LOT of reviews, but based on Amazon it seems everyone else is doing the same thing.

I just bought this game this afternoon. The workout was enjoyable. Then, I did the challenge which got my heart rate really up there as it was super tough for me, and I chose the light version. I'm still sweating, but I came in #2 overall. I chose Michelle as she is my favourite BL contestant.

The challenge event I did was the Light Cycle. You light up the lightbulbs by out-pedalling everyone else, by doing Tire Drills and Football Runs. Super tough. Just when I thought I won by knocking out a contestant, I had to do another round. I have my GoWear Fit armband on (like the BodyBugg) and for the 28 minutes that I did the warmup, challenge, and cooldown, I burned 188 calories. I think that the game really underestimates the calories burned as my GoWearFit display shows a higher calorie burn as I'm working very hard.

Overall, I like the game!

Can't wait hear all the reviews. I will still rent it first. I own too many, and not enough time in my day. Need to be financially wealthy enough not to have to work then I would have the time I need to do all the things that need to be done LOL

Ok all I bought the game today and I was shocked I was really shocked I like it a lot...it's so far is good...and no cliches in it...I think they did a great job with this one...I was very hesitant about getting this one but I'm glad I did...

I could only work on it about 25 mins but enjoyed what I worked on which was of course the easy level...there are a few more levels you can go with medium, hard, intense and one more can't think of it right now...

I set up my program and you have to chose a previous player from the former biggest loser contestants and there was only one African American there so I chose her...it would be awesome if they had the choice of unlocking more character...but I didn't see anything like that...there is a lot lot lot more to the game but as I said I could only do about 25 mins today will do more tonight...It also counts your calories...

It gives you the choice of selecting a 4, 8 or 12 week program...and set weight loss goals...I think Bob even mentioned something about earning fitness trophies...well that's all I know for now...will do more and report back later

If You're tired or starting over stop giving up

Actually there are tons of new "fitness" games coming out this fall, Jillian is even trying it again with her Ultimate 2010. I actually have to use the ones I already own. Be renting every one first, then buying the ones I will use.

This is what the Biggest Loser Website says about it...

The Wii Experience
When it comes to losing weight, the experts from The Biggest Loser know what works and what doesn’t. That’s why we’re excited to share their diet and exercise programs with you on the Wii™!

No Longer Child's Play
We know what you’re thinking – “The Wii™?? Isn’t that for kids and gamers?” Not anymore. The Biggest Loser is an interactive fitness program that emulates the competitive and training elements of the hit NBC show. Just like the show, your goal is to accomplish weight loss milestones through weekly training and exercise challenges. If you succeed in obtaining your weight loss goal, you’ll become the “Biggest Loser”. Lose weight, win challenges and stay above the yellow line!

The Biggest Loser offers numerous interactive features which fully employ the
innovative, sensor-driven hardware that only the Wii™ currently offers. Use the Wii Balance Board™ in over 66 exercises including squats, lunges and knee lifts to name a few. As you mirror your trainer’s movements the Wii™ will monitor your movements to help you become more efficient at each exercise. Whether its cardio, upper and lower body workouts or even yoga, you’ll learn proper form and technique in no time.

The Wii™ technology, combined with The Biggest Loser comprehensive workout and diet programs, will help you on your journey to a healthier lifestyle and to feeling great about yourself.

Oh yeah, we almost forgot – you’ll have fun too!

Your Virtual Gym
To get started it’s as easy as grabbing your Wii™ Remote. If you got the Wii Balance Board™, bring that along too. ‘Cause from here on out, these will be your tools of the trade. No need to worry about strapping on awkward devices or using complicated exercise equipment, you’ll be up and sweating in minutes.

The game includes 4 tools to reach your goal:

Fitness Program, this is where you establish your goals, make a plan and compete for the title of The Biggest Loser. Pick a 4, 8 or 12 week program and start sweating.

In the Health and Lifestyle Tool you’ll find encouragement and tips from former Biggest Loser contestants and trainers, and some of the best recipes from the Biggest Loser cookbooks.

In the Exercise Routines section you can select from a collection of routines that match your skill level and let you focus on every part of your body. You can also create your own routine that fits your schedule and focuses on your favorite exercises.

In the Challenge Events you’ll take the exercises you’ve learned and put them to the test in a series of fun but competitive challenges against some of the former contestants that you’ve seen on The Biggest Loser show. In Single Exercises, you can find your weakest exercise and conquer it or refine your technique to get the most out of your time.

Here are some additional features you will look forward to:

Choose one of 8 characters as your player. If they look familiar, that’s because they were once contestants on the show. Whether you’re Ali, Amy, Michelle, Drea, Bernie, Pete, Matt, or Jim, one thing’s for certain: you’ll have to work just as hard or harder than they did to become The Biggest Loser of your Wii™ experience.

Start the training exercises in the comforts of your own home. Choose a routine that fits your goals or make your own. From cardio boxing to yoga, pick or customize exercises that keep you motivated.

Undertake fun, but tough, weekly physical challenges and compete against other contestants.

Monitor your caloric intake, receive personal advice and health tips from former contestants, and get valuable access to delicious and healthy recipes.

Track your progress with our virtual calendar. See your progress at any time, review the schedule to plan for your next challenge and weigh-in, or add a friend to your daily workout.

You’ve got the goods. You’ve got what it takes. Now, let’s do this together!
See how you can stay loyal to your diet – even when you’re on the go!

Wii Balance Board™ sold separately with Wii Fit™.

the board will probably be optional--most games that do use it, still make it an option to use, not a requirement (there are exceptions, of course).

I think I had heard rumors of this quite some time ago, but nothing came of it really--maybe they just haven't spent a lot on advertising it.

Thanks for letting us know!!

On amazon.com you can see alittle flick of the game, not much but in it shows the board. So yes you will probably need the board to play game.
