I picked this up a few months ago to save for Christmas. There was a sale the week I went to look for about $35-$37 then I had a 10% off any video game in the store. SO after everything it was only about $33. I can't wait for Christmas!!! It might be another Wii Christmas this year. Last year we got the system, fit, controllers, a game.........

ELKAY6, thanks for the reply. I thought that might be the case. I'll stick with what I have.

This has a lot of good exercises with it. It is fun, but to be honest if I had to choose between this and EA Sports Active I would get the EA one. I don't think it gives you more of a workout, but it is different. I think is more fun if you have 2 people playing, but I play alone most of the time and still have fun. I have ordered the the new one, but haven't tried it yet.
I've toyed with the idea of getting this for some time. One store associate told me it was more for kids and math related. I've learned since that it doesn't have anything to do with math but it is geared toward kids. I have Wii Fit, GG Cardio, My Fitness Coach and EA Sports Active. Will Outdoor Challenge give me more of a workout than Wii Fit or is it just fun and gets one off the couch like Wii Fit? EAS Active is great! GG Cardio is good and I haven't decided yet that I like MFC. I'm looking for something that I can get a workout like EAS Active but be fun and interesting like Wii Sports and Wii Fit. Does Outdoor Challenge fall in that category? We don't have young children for whom it would be fun. It's just me working out and hubby sometimes jumping in on the fun.

I have Outdoor Challenge and I love it, especially when I have guests over. I'll have to put the new Extreme Challenge on my Christmas wish list ... along with the new Fit game, and the new EA Active game. More motivation to get off the sofa!

My wish list includes the new version: Extreme Challenge. You can get it with or without the mat, so if you already have the mat from Outdoor Challenge you don't need to buy a second one. It looks like fun! I think it is $56 with mat and $36 without. (avail at Amazon)

Instead of going out to eat with co=workers for lunch this month, I splurged on this game and I am glad I did.
Not only is it fun, but it is alot of work! In my opinion, stomping the gophers is almost as much stress relief as bowling. Many of the other games, the mine cart run, jump rope, etc. get me moving in ways I haven't moved for years!
