I put the yoga/strength in the same cardio. I record what i do and add it to my sparkpeople fitnss tracker. The cardio - i.e. run/step, i count it as a lower intensity then what the machine rates.

Don't forget to be awesome.

There are many types of yoga--most are not done "fast/hard enough" to count as cardio (read something on SP a long while ago about that). I would say that most of the stuff on Wii Fit doesn't count that way---unless the calories are super low.

I also put the yoga under yoga in cardio! The sports I play I haven't even put under anything.

I have a heart rate monitor and use that for an accurate calorie burn... Then just put it under Wii fit and calories

I put it in (under "add Cardio") as "Aerobics:General:Low Impact". I count only half of the minutes for the yoga/strength/balance sections and full minutes for the aerobics (since it's VERY likely that the other sections don't burn as much).

I haven't done the strength training on the Fit yet, but imagine if you look at the pictures of the exercises in the fitness tracker you can find similar ones and track those that way. As for the cardio, I've just been entering mine as "Wii Fit Medley" since I just got it Saturday and have been trying everything out. If you look under "other exercises", yoga is actually listed under cardio. And if you monitor your heartrate during the balance stuff, you'll find you are actually burning some calories there, too.

Any training done on the Wii Fit is automatically logged for you and graphed. Only activities outside of the Wii Fit needs to be recorded, such as walking.

I walk in the morning for 45 minutes and then jump on my Wii Fit for another hour or so. I only need to log the 45 minute walk.

I just bought the Wii fit, and hope to use it a few times a week (to supplement the walking and other things I already do).

How do you all input the time into the Fitness Tracker? Yesterday I just put it in as cardio, but it really wasn't just cardio, it was balance and yoga and strength. There probably isn't a best way to do it, but I thought I would ask what other people are doing.

Thanks! Lisa
