Jillian Michael's Deck of Cards Challenge (Adapted for Wii
This is a great way to work your whole body and all you need is a deck of cards. Each suit is assigned to a specific type of exercise:
Hearts = core
Spades = lower body
Diamonds = cardio
Clubs = upper body
The number on the card is the number of reps you will do X ten. Jacks = 110, Queens = 120,
Kings = 130 and Aces = 150 Jokers are wild 150 of whatever you choose.
There are many variations. If I get a high card such as a Queen of hearts- I may break up the type of core exercises I do. I may do 20 crunches, 20 hip bridges and so on until I get to 130.
2 of spades would be 20 squats.
For some ideas--You could use the ST portion of Wii Fit for the lower body..lunges, squats, boxing on Wii sports could be upper body- jabs, Or Gold's Gym. Abs...torso Twists, Cardio- any of the cardio exercises or Just Dance, Zumba for Wii)
How many cards will you be able to do this week. Jillian said to do a deck a day? Are you up for it? Keep track of your cards each day and the workout you did with them.
