I also have fibromyalgia, and I find that the Wii Fit Plus (which comes with the board, I think) has a lot of great options. At first I couldn't do a lot of time, but I stuck with it, just doing a few minutes at a time, and now I can do a lot without pain.

It is amazing how long it takes to finish something you aren't working on.

I like the Wii Fit Plus. It has a ton of great workouts on it and you can choose which workouts are working for you or not. I also like Wii Sports, but only on days my body isn't into much pain.

I am rather new to Wii, (just since last Christmas), but I have the Wii and Wii Fit plus. The Wii Fit plus has been fun and a good work out for me, so I don't do anything else. I do have Walk it Out and Gold's Dance, but so far have been busy with the Wii Fit Plus. I would like to try Zumba as I've heard it's good, but haven't felt the need for anything new yet.

I haven't tried the other brands of this type so couldn't comment on those.

There is a new console coming out for the Wii which will be considerably more expensive, but the old Wii is down to $149. Unless you think you can do a lot of physical activity, it is really tempting to buy the old one. There are other types of game consoles but the price of the old Wii makes the other ones a tough sell. My partner has Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia and chronic pain. I can't see putting a lot of money into something when you have that kind of illness without knowing whether or not it is a good fit. There are exercises games that you'll be able to do, however, I would find someone who had had a Wii and try it out first.

Truly successful people want others to be empowered.

I'm moving these next couple days and plan to buy a Wii (or is another brand better?). What are some of the "fun" games and fun exercise/movement games that you recommend, also what game(s) wouldn't you recomment?

I'm 55 and have fibromyalgia and chronic pain.

Thank you.

Why is weight so easy to find, but so hard to lose?
