Exercise everyday-- what did you do & for how long, see if you try to do something you don't normally do, change your routine or do different types of exercises- DON'T HOLD BACK tell us all about it.

Nov 16: Didn't want to be turned into a zombie so I practiced socceer and advanced step to no avail!
Took my dog on two walks to two different beaches
Did some strenght exercises which I hate!

Nov 17: Did Balance exercises completed them all at all levels that I have unlocked. Scored high today on Snowboarding ( high for me means that someone could have walked down the mountain faster than me!) Scored well on Balance Bubble.

Nov 18: Oh I am a little afraid to say what I did today as you will know where I hid. Okay okay I did Ski jump, Island Run and leg lifts. Walked the dogs twice.

Hi everyone! I'm back!
EXERCISING & OUTSIDE
While I was on vacation I was outside and exercised everyday by walking around. We used public transportation, so we walked, rode bikes, hiked up mountains, ran up escalators and stairs. When we were on the subway, we stood and used our core to keep balance, LOL! And our strength training was carrying our backpack suitcases all over.

Sunday - walked through Seoul, Korea to the imperial palaces, secret gardens, street markets, department stores and Olympic Park. Over 6 miles of walking over 15 hours away from the hotel.

Monday - travel day, with 27 hours of airports and plane rides. In between flights we got up and walked through the airport and did stretching and yoga to release some of the tension. On flights we stretched when we could, and tried to take some catnaps.

Tuesday - recovering jet lag, so stayed in and had mini spa day. It was good to have some time to relax.

Wednesday - was a clear crisp day so I walked to and from the train. Glad to have the time to walk.

SMILING
Sunday we had tickets to Cirque du Soleil's Alegria with friends. There is something about Cirque that makes us smile from ear to ear. We had the best seats in the house, and clapped and cheered for each of the acts, and enjoyed every moment. It was great to spend the last couple of hours of vaction with our friends and wished them all safe flights home.

Monday - on our flights we saw a couple of babies and smiled and played peek-a-boo with them. They may not know English, and we don't know Cantonese, but smiling is an international language!

Tuesday - caught up with friends via phone and smiled with them on their adventures.

Wednesday - went back to work and smiled that I still had a job! Shared my adventures with my group.

THANKSGIVING PLANS
We're not hosting, but we'll be bringing some healthy treats to both of our families dinners. Yes, we do 2 dinners for each holiday, so trying to stay healthy is hard, but we try to eat small portions at both. We'll be sharing details of our trip, so hopefully eat less since you can't talk with your mouth full!

I love these challenges too, and wish everyone a wonderful holiday and beautiful days to enjoy and exercise to make you stronger! Smile and the world smiles with you!

emoticon VIOLETTE

11/16: Still learning the Wii, I only got it last Sunday and the kids have kinda hogged it. Today I created Miis for the family and my husband and I got into a challenge for 90 minutes on bowling. However for about 15 minutes I decided to do lunges each time I bowled (this is where he started beating me, but I can feel it now)

11/17: 30 minutes on treadmill and 30 minutes on Wii sports (still haven't gotten the Wii fit yet)

Nov 19: 20 min. walk outside and 40 min. Wii Fit - Advanced Step, Boxing, and Advanced Hula Hoop (10 mins). The advanced Hula Hoop is the new thing I tried today - I've never Hula Hooped for that long - what a workout emoticon

Sounds like great challenge! Thanks Meylose!

1) Exercise everyday-- what did you do & for how long, see if you try to do something you don't normally do, change your routine or do different types of exercises- DON'T HOLD BACK tell us all about it.

Nov 16: 25 minutes on the Wii Fit, 36 minutes on my Dad's elliptical - second time using this and my legs already are aching!
Nov 17: 36 minutes at Curves today - unfortunately I didn't have time to get on the Wii since I had to go to a meeting last night and I have been busy putting my house back together after getting it painted!
Nov 18: Did some WiiFit and then some WiiSports for a total of 77 minutes - time does fly when you're having fun!
Nov 19: Started my morning out at Curves. Did 66 minutes of Wii (Wii Sports, Wii Fit, DDR)
Nov 20: Bunch of stuff on the Wii for 45 minutes
Nov 21: Curves today for 35 minutes
Nov 22: 46 minutes of Wii Fit including 3 consecutive (without stopping my jogging in place in between) Island Laps and 20 minutes of boxing to find a hiding spot!

2) Get outside a few moments everyday and breathe, destress and enjoy the moment. We are given so much to be grateful for.

Nov 16: Used the electric razor to cut DH & DS's hair and did it outside on my deck - pretty cold, probably should have done this inside!
Nov 17: Walked outside my house to check out the work the highway department did in front of my house - long story!
Nov 18: Mailbox was about all I could handle - brrrr, too cold!
Nov 19: Mailbox was all I could handle!
Nov 20: Mailbox & garbage cans...brrrr...
Nov 21: From car to Walmart and back, from car to Stop & Shop and back, then Mailbox....brrrr....filled bird feeder on deck....brrrr...
Nov 22: Back and forth from car to mall, then same to Target, then same to Best Buy (can you tell I went shopping!!!!

3) Take one day and SMILE all day no matter what, it is contagious and it will certainly lighten your heart and spirit.

This is going to be a hard one, I have two small children (lol!) But I guess it is easy because they always end up making me smile at something silly they do!

4) Start planning or finish planning your healthy Thanksgiving dinner.

Also my birthday this year, so I'm not sure how healthy I'll be, I've already planned this as a splurge day for myself!

Will try recipe MEYLOSE suggested as well...may as well try to keep things within reason even if I'm going to splurge!

I'm in I'll just keep up this post.

Here we go

Sunday:
I worked out on my wii fit for 30 mins (focused on strength training) Then took the dog for a 30 min bike ride down to the river and back.
I went outside to feed the horses and enjopyed the outdoors even though it's raining.
Thanksgiving is over for us but I did get back on my diet!!!

Monday:
Spent 1.5hrs on wii fit and 15 min playing wii tenis. Took the dog for a bike ride and enjoyed the outdoors as much as I possibly could.

I am so sorry I am really bad at keeping up but I will totally be all over this one. (I LOVE these challenges you are so creative!!)
1) Sunday- I'm changing this I work (I work retail on Sundays not my M-F job thats something different) that was my work out was working. I was running up and down stairs up and down aisles for customers, when jogging for the customer I often had to jump over things and dodge people so I could help them. I'm awesome at customer service. I wish CVS paid more I would totally quit my real job and work there.

I was outside after work because it was a busy busy day.
Monday- Did the long distance run and then the island lap on Wii fit played Jillian Michaels but my balance board crapped out so I stopped and decided to trade it in for the outdoor life game. Also did single leg extensions because I don't wanna be a zombie!

Took my ten min break outside so I could breath in the clean air.

Tuesday- A little over an hour on my wii fit I did one of the workout listed in the wii workouts message board and man let me tell you I probably sweated off like 3 lbs it was so much work for me. The two runs, advanced step and boxing!

Its getting kinda cold but I parked far from my building at work so the walk to my car I enjoyed the fresh air. I LOVE THIS TIME OF THE YEAR!!!!

Wednesday- Did the wii fit for an hour did the same workout as yesterday.
I love walking outside taking a moment and breathing in the fresh air deeply
Thursday- Didn't work out had no time
Friday- Didn't work out had no time
Saturday- Did 102mins! Did the same work out just all the yoga and strength training plus expert boxing
3)psh I smile everyday my nickname growing up was smiles
4)Can I do Christmas instead I'm going to my parents house for thanksgiving and my dad and brother are cooking so I have no control. However my mom dad and brother are all trying to be healthy so I don't think it will be hard. Christmas is at my place.
