I've been checking prices & putting items in my shopping cart. Prices on some items don't seem to be much lower than you can get them with double coupons when they're on sale at the local store, but others are definitely better.
I was wondering how quickly things shipped. Thanks for that info. I was thinking it might take a week or more.

I'm signed up for it, but haven't used it yet. If you are signed up for Swagbucks, you can cash in 20 of your points (one-time only) for a $5 Alice.com gift card. That is what I did.
I've also read online that another reader was able to buy postage stamps at a big discount (can't recall the % right now), by adding tiny cost items to her order.
It's free shipping too.
Obviously, if you're looking to save cash, not spend it; you'd have to be very careful what items you buy.

I've signed up for it, but I haven't used it yet. I'm always a little leary of things like this on the internet, but on Judith's recommendation, I think I might try it.
I have used Amazon's grocery division for my Bigelow tea. I signed up for automatic shipments which made the price better.

I DO use it! Love it! Now one thing you need to watch are the sizes. Some of the prices sound great - and they are - but if you are used to buying a larger size, make sure you click on that size.

The shipping is free but you do have to buy a minimum of six items. Nothing is ever shipped until you order it!

And you get reminders if you have gone past your time frame. For example, when you set up your profile, it will show you multiple items available. So say you enter that you need laundry soap every three months. If you go past that three months, you get an e-mail reminding you have gone past the time and do you need to reorder? The time frames for reordering range from one week to six months.

There are obviously no perishable items but I really enjoy knowing that I don't have to run out to get the cleaning products or non-perishable food items.

There is no minimum time you have to stay with them so you could try them for about a month and cancel at any time.

Have any of you used alice.com? I have heard that it is supposed to be a great site for buying daily "stuff", so I was curious about how it worked or if it really does save money.
