Our bodies are constantly using water to be able to maintain its natural body temperature so with the warmer weather we definitely need to drink more then usual. I personally try to get in at least 100 oz. throughout the day.
I know it can be a little challenging to drink a lot of water but remember that WATER IS OUR FRIEND ladies. Water has so many perks from increasing your energy, raises your metabolism, reduces hunger, good for your skin, etc...
If you're not already doing so make it a goal to start guzzling more :).
You can have RESULTS or EXCUSES... not both!
You can't spell CHALLENGE without CHANGE!

I live in AZ which is very hot so its the drink of choice during the really hot months. I find myself having to purposefully drink more, and encourage my family as well. I make green tea, jasmin tea and black tea with lemon, I sometimes find myself drinking only that. Getting my 8+ waters a day by taking a large jug to work.

I drink up to 10-14 glasses of water per day, well I drink my water in water bottles that equals the water I intake! I am used to drinking water already, but at first it was soo challenging it wasnt funny!
We all can drink alot of water to clean and detoxify our bodies of impurities!

LOL I have been very good about that I know that it is not easy considering how easy it is to be satisfied with it. BUT Water, Agua, Good 'ol H2o, makes everything feel and run better. This is great that we remind each other to drink drink and then drink some more agua.
I agree with our awesome leader that the more you drink water the less you will drink other stuff like gatorade or vitamin water or any other of those "pseudo" water replacement. They are okay once in while, but there is NO substitute for water!!!
This is great! The fact that you were able to quit soda cold turkey. Good for you. Just keep reminding yourself that there is not one healthy thing in a soda there for there is not one reason you should drink a soda. As for Gatorade I don't know it's health or calorie info. but I do know it is better than drinking soda. If you can get your water intake up to 8 glasses a day I bet you will definitely cut down on the Gatorade. Another suggestion that some may or may not agree with is drinking pure fruit juice. I drink pure fruit juice as a beverage and to get my vitamins,But read the label and make sure it is pure Fruit Juice no additives. You go!!!!
I am proud to say that I havent touched a soda (well maybe..to pass it to someone else at the table lol) since the 23rd of August!!! I decided to give up soda cold turkey. I was drinking way too much everyday all day thats all I would drink...but now, my frig is full of bottled ozarka and gatorade. Is gatorade better than soda? Well if it is or isnt I think its way better than drinking soda lol. I dont quite drink 8 glasses of water a day like I should but the main thing is I quit SODA!!!

It is a little weird at first if youre not used to it but then you actually start looking for it. Im one of those people who had to add Crystal light packets or lemon or something to it to get used to it.
MAKING MY OWN LUCK THIS TIME.

I do believe this is the one thing that we all must get into our systems each and every day. WATER WATER and more WATER!! I know that it is not an easy thing to do, especially if you only drink Pepsi and Coke all day long. But you need to try and get that water intake everyday. Keep in mind "BABY STEPS" to your goal weight.
