Although I have some little habits that give me pleasure, such as spending a few hours Saturday afternoons relatively aimlessly shopping in thrift or discount stores, or surfing the net or TV, I'm realizing that I'm missing out by not getting more determined to pursue certain interests that hover in my mind, such as developing my singing/acting voice, or learning more about how I could make an impact on world problems that haunt me, such as the monopoly of water delivery by private companies that end up depriving the poor of clean water and depleting local communities of their water and shipping it out. Who else can I be besides this person always struggling with weight?
