What I've learned from tracking this week... I need to be more diligent about getting in my water.. and more diligent about calories. I'm sure that explains my plateau - less of a mystery when I look at what I've actually been doing. I only go slightly over, but still I need to get myself firmly in the 1200-1500 range. I also just "eyeball" portions, and I think I give myself more than is being recorded. Was that really just 1 serving of Raisin Bran? for example, when I just toss some into my bowl.

Thanks JEN-MN! I forgot to update my ticker Saturday .. I am VERY close to my goal so I can't complain. I do hope something else will come up to help keep me moving but I am not worried so much about losing much more but I would love to build some muscle and definition!! I know that usually brings on some weight ....

ANSIN2011... you've done an amazing job! I'm not sure how the weight is tracked - overall percentage or loss from one week to the next.. but you did really well and are getting close to your goal - looks great from here!

And CGARRARD... continue to spark on.. when it comes my time to get bumped off, I will be on the lookout for another challenge to keep my motivation up and provide structure.. it can make such a difference!

Well this sucks. I've lost a total of 10lbs since this challenge started and I gained just a little for the first time this week... I guess it was the worst week to gain :( Oh well, go PINK team!! Good luck ladies :) You got this!

Good luck on weigh-in tomorrow everyone. No good here. I have discovered the secret of weight maintenance, because whatever it is I'm doing, the scale has been roughly the same since Christmas.

KSCAMS... good question on the scale... for our vacation this past summer, I just weighed myself before we left and then when we got back, and didn't monitor while we were there. I don't know how you'd do it without purchasing a scale while you're there?

FAIL.

After an active productive day yesterday, today was a low energy day. Not as in, "Phew, I needed the rest," but as in sloth.

Woke up past my window to run, so scratch that. Never got around to Jillian, and THEN h'band (and we hardly EVER do this!) went and ordered pizzas for dinner tonight.

And I had a slice.

Sigh. After a day of nap battles, I think I'll be getting some extra running in. Toddler won't take a nap today (double sigh), so I'm getting the jogging stroller ready and we're going to "run" our errands this afternoon because I need the stress relief and just want to feel like something is going right today. So I just did some investigating...the marathon runner is on the Grey team and she has a half on Saturday. D'oh! I will spin tomorrow and thursday in the hopes that we can rack up some miles that way. I ran 3.5 miles today. Let's go team, keep moving! :)

Too bad the marathon runner was eliminated!!! Ok I will try to rack up the miles this week. Only 2 yesterday. Think I will go to a spinning class tomorrow to get some miles on the bike. Today I will try to run at least 3...my problem is time constraints! Full time 9-5 and a Mommy! How do we women do it?! ;) happy mileage day! Good luck!

Didn't do formal exercise today but was on the go all day... kids to the dentist then to lunch, then to sign in my 1st grade daughter to school, then home for a whole 60 minutes, then off to the hospital to pick up x-rays, then to the orthopedic dr for my 4yr old son (who got his hand smashed in the van door this past Wednesday) --- all while hauling the 11 month old around!

I probably walked a good mile today, but since I didn't track it, I won't count it as official.

My week so far:
Sun 2/10: 1.95 miles
Mon 2/11: --

I sucked it up and ran 3 miles today, plus a mile of walking for warm up/cool down. Does anyone know if the winning team will be the one with the most mileage or the team that has the most members that track their miles?

KSCAMS... I got out there. I was over-layered, if that's possible. Was a paltry run, haven't been out in too long.. but I covered a few miles.

16° out there this morning... should I bundle up and venture out for a run? I've been doing indoor exercise for the past month.. I think I need the fresh air already!

Hope everyone fared well for our weigh in. I had a big loss this week, but I'm second from the bottom for overall loss these past 5wks, so I could be out for sure.

Kscams I bought a hydration belt that came with bottles so I can't help you there. It was a Nathan's belt with 4 bottles with check valves that requires squeezing the bottle to get liquid out. I bought it on amazon for 35 dollars. As far as the gels go the gel that was easiest on the stomach was Hammer gels but I have only used Gu gels and I was ok. They can be purchased at your local sporting goods store or Amazon. The gels run a little more than a dollar apiece. The gels are pretty concentrated so it's good to wash them down with water or Gatorade. I hope to run a marathon by January of next year.

My Friday was pretty much off the wagon. Not really even walking along the road.

But I was still down 2.3 from last week (only down 2.2 overall, I gained one week)
