There are no Grey Team and Pink Team anymore. Everyone is individual now and we are down to the Top 10. There is a new thread for everyone as individuals to go and chat.

Go team grey. I have a feeling we won the weigh in this week. If that's the case nobody will go home. It's a new week lets focus on how we can do better next week.

Congrats to everyone for their work last week! Mommacassey lost the most percent weight this week. Let's keep positive thoughts going into next week. Weight loss as well as everything else in life is a mental process. emoticon

I gained 1/2 lb emoticon
Personally, I'm not stressed or worried about it, because I know it's water weight.
But I hope this doesn't cause us to lose the weigh in or me to have to leave the team.
I did get my 5 days of cardio in! So hopefully that helps!!!

Nh mom don't beat yourself up it was good that u lost the pounds that you gained. Just try and figure out the source of your weight gain figure out what you need to do to lose and try again for next week. The biggest loser of the pink team had no weight loss this week. Also I think we won the challenge too. Stay positive the mental part of weight loss can't be underestimated. Good luck for next week.

Go grey team.

I weighed in. Very disappointed in my self this week. I gained 2 ;bs and fought all week to lose it. I did, but that means I could've been down to 153. Okay, fingers crossed I make the team and then time to get to work on eating better.

MOMMACASSEY I await that day too, but my oldest will be 7 in April. He's usually the first one up and I'm awakened by him yelling quite loudly, "Momma! Can I get out of bed!!" That's if he goes off before his alarm does. My middle one is like me and will sleep in unless wakened. Not sure about #3 but she does about 50/50 right now.

Not ready for weigh-in tomorrow or rather I'm not looking forward to it. No matter how much cardio I do it doesn't make much difference on the weight. It's the eating. Really tried hard yesterday and today. I'm hoping I'm at least the same.

I've done a couple of walks with Leslie Sansone, and the Biggest Loser walking DVD--though I've only tried 3 of the 4 walks on there. It seems the easiest way for me to get the full time to do it is either by hurrying home to do it before I pick up the girls from daycare or to let the 3-year-old "dance" along with the video while I hold the baby--who will be 1 March 7!--and try not to step on the other.

Today is the first day this whole week I've had a good attitude and felt awake like I should (day 10 w/o coffee, too!) and we've got plans to go out tonight. Maybe while we're in the area I can talk my man into going for a family walk... no, that won't work, we'll be all dressed up but I imagine i can do something... I mean, we'll be out of the house, at least!

What I am most looking forward to is one of those days (or weekends) when I can sleep in until I wake up without an alarm or a child needing me. I don't see that anywhere near my horizon, but it's a dream I will hold on to.

And the weekend is looking like a good possibility for catching some extra exercise, too...

I sooo understand the hubby thing. Mine's the same, but he's gotten better over the years. If I want to go grocery shopping he asks which kids I'm taking. Um . . .that's the point of going while you're home. Men. I actually find I can get more done when he's not home. Though it's nice to have him home every once in awhile. My stumbling block happens to be the reason I have to lose weight. Pepper will be 1 year old on March 9th. She is not much of a napper, unless she's being held. She doesn't like being in her jumperoo or swing for too long. Her walker would be okay but she gets at stuff she's not supposed to touch. I tried doing a ST video while she was "free". She was grabbing my hair, poking my eyes and trying to climb up on me. Sometimes I just stick her somewhere and let her cry but that grates on your nerves after a bit. What about trying short videos like the 1 mile walk with Leslie Sansone - it's 15 minutes or some of the videos on SP are 20 minutes or less. I know I'd rather do it all at once but sometimes you have to break it up. Oh and sometimes w/hubby I say the kids are all set I want _____ minutes to exercise(especially if I know he's not really doing anything). He's gotten better about this too over the years. You'll figure out something that works for you. Us moms can be pretty resourceful. emoticon

Fellow mamas, I know it's tough to find time for ourselves. Whether you're a working mom or SAHM, it's just not easy. Keep trying, for me it's the only way to stay sane!

I did 40 minutes of aerobics, a Denise Austin one & Coach Nicole's short cardio burst.

MOMMACASSEY I feel your pain. If I want to go somewhere with out the girls I have to make sure they both are in bed and settled for the night. My husband hasn't gained the confidence to be able to put either of them to bed and he's always saying "you do it better" or "they listen to you" or "it's easier for you to put them to bed" When I have a lia sophia party, I sell lia sophia jewelry, he always cringes and groans about: me leaving to do the party, having to make sure he's home by 5pm so I can arrive with time to set up my display, he then also insists that I either have fed the girls dinner or have it ready to go on the stove so all he has to do is dish it up and set it on the table for Rebecca and feed it to Kaylin. Oh and I can't leave until he's had time to go potty and eat something because he apparently can't do either of these things while the girls are awake.

As for you being tired, take a day and just rest. Nap in the afternoon when the kids nap. If they don't nap anymore still put them in their rooms and then you lay down and sleep. We have a door knob cover on the inside of Rebecca's door knob so she can't open the door when she's in her room with the door closed. She has plenty of toys and her bed so when she is ready to sleep/nap she can do so when she "needs/wants" to. As for Kaylin I put her in the jumper, swing or lay her on the floor mat to play while I lay down on the couch. Since she is no longer colicky she entertains herself for at least 30 min and will fall asleep in all three places.

Remember taking a day for rest when you need it will help your weight loss progress. A sleep debt will hinder you losing weight. Good luck at feeling more energized!

It looks like you all are doing great getting cardio in... I've been so exhausted this week, it just hasn't happened, no matter how I plan or what else is going on/not going on. I've even had the husband at home, so I thought I'd be able to leave the kids with him while I got something done... but whenever I get home, he's entrenched in his video games or TV shows, and hasn't let me have a chance to even do a DVD workout.

It's been frustrating, but I can't get on him too hard because I really have been exhausted this week. Every day seems a little harder than the previous day, and not sleeping through the night is starting to wear on me.

I'm just working on making sure I eat well, at least. And even that is frustrating, because then I have to fight my family to get them to eat what I cook! Argh.

I borrowed Jillian Michael's Extreme Shed & Shred from a friend and tried that today. I was expecting it to be wicked hard. It was more intense than what I have been doing, but not so hard I had to stop. I really liked some of the moves and totally loathe a few others. I'm thinking I might still do a 1 mile walk w/Leslie. I feel a little pumped up to work out and I think I put a pound back on this week so I need to get rid of it.

Yesterday I was so busy and on my feet literally all day long. I've got no idea how much I walked here at home. I did dishes, 3 loads of laundry (all washed, dried and put away in the same day!), chased after Rebecca and Kaylin, worked on potty training (we were in the bathroom probably 8 times), Kaylin has discovered her effective mode of transportation: rolling and spinning on her tummy.

Today I took the girls to their doc apts and ran a few other errands. Everyone has been very tired, myself included, so we all took afternoon naps. Oh how wonderful it was to take a nap! I'm a very happy Momma emoticon I'm getting my exercise in by doing other types of activities. Lots of lifting my girls and spinning around in circles, lifting up saying "up up up up up" and then lifting slowly down saying "down down down down down" and repeating for at least 5 minutes. Playing "horse" where I'm the horse is also fun.

Yeah walking in place while watching Jeff Dunham's Halloween Special worked wonders. I have been super busy today and tired, I had to watch our neighbor's daughter since they are teachers and had to work but their kids didn't have school. Having to get up earlier than normal and not being able to go back to sleep or even lay down was difficult. I played with the girls, including being the "horse" on horse rides and the "lifter" of the kids in "lift me to the moon and back while spinning around in circles". I also managed 100 situps (50 reg and 50 with a twist) and 25 pushups.

Day 2 done. Hoping to borrow a cardio DVD from a friend. I'm getting tired of doing the same one and the ones on SP aren't long enough. I know I could repeat them. Today was below zero with the windchill and tomorrow is supposed to be in the 40's so I might be able to walkl outside. Somehow I don't think it'll be quite that warm.

ALI_P7 I usually hang onto 18oz Jiff peanut butter jars in each hand when I workout with Coach Nicole. Sometimes Kaylin isn't happy just watching me workout so then I have to hold her while I work out. She likes the bouncing/hopping around and ends up laughing! Coach Nicole is the only workouts where I can hold Kaylin and still get a great workout.

I just finished 40 min of workouts with Coach Nicole: Walk it out and 80's themed exercise. I'm feeling great! I also did some more sit ups, not as many as I did during our challenge week but enough to feel the burn in my abs.

Well, I just got my 3 miles in, might be able to squeeze 4th due to the time difference. C'mon team! We're behind by 7 miles! We can do it. Make sure to track your miles and enter your weight!!!

I got another 2 miles in. Yes, I think I'm insane! Today I figured out that I only need to lose 10 lbs to get to my pre-pregnancy weight. So I'm keeping on with my exercise. I feel so much better since dropping just 8 lbs. It's incredible. So even if I don't make the cut this challenge has really helped me and I'm so glad I joined it. emoticon

MOMMACASSEY if it wasn't for this challenge I would've totally skipped it. I didn't actually get to bed until about 12:20am - 2 of the 3 kids needed to be dealt with and hubby slept on the couch to get sleep so he was no help. I did get about 6 hours of sleep which seemed like 9 hours after not getting much the night before. So today I did my 3 mile walk w/Leslie Sansone and had time to do another mile after dinner. Just making up for yesterday. emoticon I just feel so much more human today, tired still but human. Everybody remember to weigh in tomorrow. I think I'm down 1 pound if not 2.

Trying to maintain my weight in the 145-150 range.

I walked 1.5 miles with the girls in the stroller. We ran errands and now I'm back home. More walking here at home will add to 2 miles for the day. Happy Friday everyone and remember to weigh in!

NH Mom, I don't know how you did it after the day you had... Great work!

I got almost a mile and a half by myself last night, AND my husband kept the girls occupied long enough afterward to do a little calisthenics... AND take a shower! Yay!

Baby is sick and older kids have it as well. According to the doctor it's just a cold, which is better than the flu, etc. She was running a fever with hers. What a crank she's been all day. Now is the most she really got down to play. Sooo I only got like 2 hours of sleep. I have yet to do my ST and I keep telling myself I will do at least 1 mile, but I didn't get a nap at all and I'm exhausted. My oldest has cub scouts and I hate for him to miss it but he looks pretty rough right now. Didn't even argue when I said rest time. I guess I should do something before I end up doing nothing. Way to go team! Keep it up!!

Managed to get in a 3 mile walk before heading to my parents for dinner. Very proud of myself for getting it done. Got all 3 kids bathed and I even got a shower. It's been a very productive day. emoticon Love reading the posts from everyone. All of you are doing a great job! emoticon

MOMMACASSEY: So sorry to hear your little one isn't feeling well. I do hope Eureka gets better soon! I'm also glad you have such a supportive husband. I know it means the world to me when I don't have to cook, clean or take care of the kids for an evening. I also know not having to do normal tasks/chores means more me/you time. Thanks for posting and good luck getting active! emoticon
