I guess we're probably done since it's been another 2 months. It was nice "working" with you. My daughter is almost 2.5 so I may leave this group soon. Just wanted to let you know. I miss this "race". It was a motivator on days I really didn't want to exercise(having a lot of those lately). Good luck to you all! emoticon

ROSIE I hope you did well on your 5K. All of our snow is gone. We just got back from spending 2 weeks in England (w/my in-laws). Glad to be back and get back to doing my exercises. Does anyone know if we're still going through the states? I was hoping we'd get to finish.

Hey everyone!

Hope you are starting to thaw out. We've had a few days of sun here in MI and the snow is almost gone! I've run outside twice this week to celebrate since I'm not a huge fan of the treadmill. DH and I are actually running a 5K this weekend and I'm pushing DD in a borrowed jog stroller. We'll see how things go since it's hard enough to run on my own, much less push around 40-45 extra pounds!

Just checking in to see how everyone is. We got 10" of snow Thursday, it flurried yesterday and it's snowing today. I am so sick of the snow & cold. The kids have been sick so much this winter too. Looking forward to spring weather - if it ever gets here - so we can get outside more. I feel like I won't see my gardens until June. I can't wait to get out in them.

Sorry I missed it. I wasn't online very much in the past few days.

Regardless, I did learn that you can use food to say "I love you" without being too indulgent. It just means you need to be a little more creative.

Article read. I haven't really liked Valentine's Day since I was a kid. I usually ask my hubby to not spend money on a card or silly gifts. Most of the ideas are ones I've heard of before. Neither my husband nor my kids eat eggs. I have made pancakes in heart shapes before - my boys loved it. Hubby wasn't overly thrilled. lol Maybe I'll try making the brownies for hubby and either cut them in heart shapes or sprinkle the powdered sugar like the article said. These are neat ideas, but not too practical in my household at the moment.

Trying to maintain my weight in the 145-150 range.

Article complete. I lied about the Spark Points. This one didn't offer it at the end of the article.

I found it interesting that not all of the foods mentioned were "diet" foods. I guess everything in moderation is okay though.

It reminded me that I should probably think of something for my 2 guys for Valentine's Day next Friday.
