60 was where it got tough. I was fine though ... Until I laid in bed and wondered by my core hurt! LOL

Edit: everyone try the crunches with both legs out flat and tell me if that burns more or if it's just me

Yes, I would say just edit your post just like weigh-ins for survivor. I've been slacking off lately but time to get rolling!!!!

Okay! This is my official 2011 Crunch Tracking Post! I will edit throughout the day if I find time to squeeze more in, and everyday I do some. This is such an awesome idea!

06/14 75 crunches (this got difficult...I don't see me doing many more that at once anytime

I've just been editing my initial post like we've been doing for the Survivor Challenge, so the thread doesn't get out of control.

I have an old "Abs of Steel" tape too! I used to love doing them! The instructor always made me laugh. emoticon

That's what I have been doing. I don't know where else to track it. I set up an "other goal" with it, but don't know how to count them there. I just need a place to track, or I'll never be able to do it. I was thinking about pulling my old "Ab's of Steel" tape out. That's about 6500 crunches in one workout emoticon

Just saw this and I am so in!! My core is what I neglect the most and what I need to work on the most! Argh!! Count me in starting today!! Are we just going to keep the tally in this thread and keep editing our original count post so the thread isn't 6500 pages long by the end of the year?!

Yes! We need to all make the same goal, I didn't even think into it that far! I meant to do mine this morning before work but didn't. I'll have to get mine in tonight along with my D2W2 of C25K :) I need to find different types to do to keep myself entertained. We had a set of 60+ we would do back in dance school - it made them go by fast. it was something like this:

8 regular
8 right leg lifted
8 left " "
8 both legs up
8 right leg crossed over left
8 left " " right
8 legs flat
8 regular

I've tracked 165 so far (since Monday, think...includes both crunches and crunches with a twist. I may add in some other variations). I've obviously done more this year, but those are the ones I've actually counted.

Absolutely! My 6500 figure came from the remaining days so if you find yourself getting close to that before the end of the year throw a new goal out there for yourself. How many do you have so far for 2011?

Hey guys! I wanted to see how much interest we would have in doing 6500 crunches by the end of 2011? As of now we have I think 214 days left in 2011 - that would mean around 30 crunches a day. We can definitely do that! Feel free to update your daily or weekly progress on this thread. I'm planning on starting tomorrow since it just so happens to be the start of June too.

What I'm going to do is post my weekly total each Wednesday. I might update my stats daily too, haven't decided yet.

So who is with me??????
