I think that's a good idea but I need to be a little more accountable than quarterly. I'm down almost 2 lbs. this week but could be because I was ill for a couple days. I haven't managed much exercise the last few days either because of it. Anyway, changed my ticker to fitness minutes for a more positive note because the big goal here is for a healthier lifestyle. I'm trying not to let the scale make or break me, either. Thanks for sharing and I'm waiting for the blog. (:

A woman on another team said that she only weighs herself at the turn of the season. So only 4 times a year! That got me to thinking...Why am I giving the scale so much emotional control? Although I am still weighing myself weekly (up .4 this week) I am no longer giving it the power to make or brake me. I have gained the last two weeks, but I have been getting more compliments on how good I am looking in the last two weeks then before. So I say, keep doing what makes you feel good and gives you those NSVs (non-scale victories) and in the long run you will be much happier.

I have a NSV I am gonna blog about later. I wont put it here because it's TMI, lol, but check out my blog later today.

TUDAFD, you may be building muscle and that's why you aren't seeing "big losses." If that's the case, then you are doing just fine! Have you taken your measurements lately? If not, you may want to. Sometimes the measuring tape is a better indicator than the scale!

I'm doing more strength training so I'm mentally preparing myself for an increase on the scale, but I'm ready! I want that increase in muscle! emoticon

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, I'm up by almost another pound this week. I manage around 6-hours of exercise a week and I track everything I eat plus I've upped my vegetable servings this week. I did get heavier weights and higher resistance bands, too. On the positive side, I felt pretty good, so tried on a few things that used to be too small and two of the three look great and one not too bad. I still need to lose more weight but at least that gives me a little encouragement. We'll see what next week brings. I'm not giving in. emoticon

TUDAFD, maybe "tweak" things a bit? Are you drinking 8 glasses of water a day? Logging all your food? Are you getting 30 minutes of exercise? Hang in there! Maybe lower calories by 200 and increase your exercise by 10 minutes. emoticon

I am finally at the lower end of my weight range at 136.4 lbs. It took a few weeks, but maintenance isn't easy! Worth it, YES; easy NO.
