Not at my Pilates studio. Seems like everyone is recovering from some injury and they do an amazing job. It is great for the healthy, injured and recovering.

Pilates is an effective, yet gentle and enjoyable system of exercise. This makes it perfect for the non-athlete; the Pilates method is particularly suited for people who feel too inactive, too overweight, too uncoordinated, or too out-of-shape to begin a normal fitness routine. Oddly enough, the physical therapy type applications of Pilates are rarely emphasized, and Pilates is generally only viewed as suitable for extremely athletic people like ballet dancers.
