-- Continue healing my ankle. That will allow me to do active activities with granddaughter.
-- I'm 8 pounds away from goal and have been for 3 months. I think my inability to run or jump has contributed to the plateau.
-- I want to try out a Pilates studio near my work to see if that's do-able
-- Create a monthly family swim event at the nearby community center. Indoor pool is nice and warm.
Life needs balance
My goals are:
- journal on a regular basis
- work out on a regular basis
- get a real live Pilates lesson (or more than one!)
- take a yoga class
- learn to value myself
"It does not matter how slow you go so long as you do not stop." -- Confucius
"There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something you accept no excuses; only results" - unknown
My resolutions for this year are pretty simple. I only have a few, and I am excited to get back on track and do what I need to do to be more healthy.
Lose 20 pounds
Work out 3-5 times a week
Finish Couch 2 5k
Run a 5k
Run a 10K
Run a half-marathon
Sculpt 6-pack abs
I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul.
My goals are to keep eating low carb, drink more water, and to do my very careful exercises every other day.
I've had to go with even more gentle exercises than Pilates most of the time, but the physio therapist I had while I was in a physiological rehab center in Oct/Nov did use a modified Swan and another modified Pilates exercise for my program. :-)
I have moved beyond just weight loss for this next year. Yes, I want to continue losing weight and reach my goal weight of 147.8 lbs by April 15th. I also want to do the following:
Start my Masters program
Start my personal trainer certification
Move in with the man I love
What are your goals.
