Calling all parents!!!
Ok, here's the deal: I NEED TO FIND THE TIME TO WORK OUT!!!
I work all day long and don't get home until about 6 pm, and my 3 year old is stuck at daycare from 7:30am - 5:30 pm. I could join the Y or find a sitter - but I'm already away from him too long during the day.
So - I'd like to find workout ideas that I can do WITH my son. Please keep the following in mind:
I have tried to get up early to workout... but yeah - that's hopeless. If I'm the only one depending on me to get up - it ain't happenin!
We do not have a sidewalk (live on a country rd) so I'm not comfortable with letting him ride a tricycle on the road with me b/c there is still quite a bit of traffic.
We live about 10 miles from the nearest playground and it's great for weekends - but I still have to cook dinner so that's not really doable during the week.
My son is heavy... he's about the size of a 4-5 year old (both in height and weight) so the "hold your toddler over your head and let them fly like a bird" exercise I just saw when I googled ideas about knocked me out of my chair!
I'm starting to feel like I'm up the creek without a paddle.
Keep it simple - complications make things complicated!
