I sometimes wish i was on the toddler diet. they eat a few bites and run off to play then come back. we have them sit down for dinner every night but it often a struggle to get them to sit still long enough to eat a meal. they will often take a few bites and then just want to be done.
we save their food and they can have it for later. no wonder they are both thin lol

thanks. those are all things i do and have tried too. But I will check family circle for recipes. I've just begun to feel like I'm in a rut making them the same things over and over...but I suppose if they eat then they are fine :)
thanks

for my 4 and 2 year olds I just make them try it. if they dn't like it that is fine, but they have to try it. i also will cut up onions, garlic, jalapenos, green peppers, etc and sautee and throw them into most of their dinner including spaghetti or any pasta. i try for healthy snacks becuase it seems they would rather snack than eat a whole meal. they are both at a good weight so i'm not worried if they are picky. family circle has some great recipes. i think on here there are kid friendly recipes as well. also i found that i can switch whole grain pasta for white pasta, brown rice for white, wheat bread as opposed to white bread. They eat it and I don't hear any complaints. i found that my kids love yougurt and oats mixed together.
sometimes we add fruit. i always have fruits and veggies on hand for them to snack on.
