There is a thread called Team Orange. You will take the total from the post before yours and add your calories burned and then you will get a new total.

I was doing great at the start of the month- but then lost my heart rate monitor for a few days-- so used the Spark calculator- which was far below what my watch normally gives me- I walk up hills- so I think that is the big difference.
But watch has been found- and I have been trying to go to my classes and get in morning workouts as well- hope to be able to help us beat out the apples- here we go team!!!!!

Sorry team I haven't contributed much this week- I have been fighting the stomach bug and having a very stressful week at work- so making time to move- and having the energy- has been a big obstacle- I hope to be on the up and up so will hopefully start busting out some calories tomorrow morning.Keep up the amazing work Oranges!!!!!

I love this challenge- I am a bit competitive but I also don't like to let others down- so when I wake up and want to roll over and go back to sleep I think Team Orange needs my calories- so far it has been working! On Thursday morning I got up and did a workout video I haven't done in 7 years- it felt great- and I had energy all day- however I woke up Friday morning and the 25 minutes of varying squats made me remember the muscles in my legs and butt I forgot I had- it was a good burn but prevented me from doing much yesterday (I looked 80 walking up the stairs at work!). Got up and did my Wii free jog this morning and then stretched out a lot- feeling better today. Will keep that workout video in the routine but probably only once a week until it doesn't hurt so much the next day.

I think I can... I know I can... I did!

This challenge came at the perfect time for me. I am just now getting into a really regular workout schedule. I even got up early this morning, drove to the gym and worked out. I didn't make it yesterday as planned (8 year old w/nightmares Thursday night) I didn't want to go three days without working out. It amazes me. I have probably put in more time this year than I have in the last two years.

Good morning Team Orange! I just got on board this week, and I'm excited about this challenge. I'm looking at ways to get more time and therefore calories burned each day. So far, I'm just getting back on the exercise bandwagon, so it's a little slow. I'm also trying to incorporate my Wii cardio workouts with this challenge :)

OK, just thought I would check in with the team and see how everyone's spirits are doing!

Working out use to be hit or miss for me but now I schedule my workouts just like I would a hair appt. To make things even easier I joined the YMCA right next door to my office and have started taking classes on my lunch hour. Mon. - Yoga, Tue/Thu - Strength, Wed. - Zumba and Saturday is a 90 minute total body challenge class.

I never thought I would like working out with a class because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to keep up or I would fail. Turns out I love the socialization and the friendly push you get from the others. What does the rest of Team Orange like to do to burn those calories and get fit?

Quick question (sorry if this was answered elsewhere). How are we getting our numbers for calories burned, is it from the fitness tracker, or are we including our BMR? In other words is it just calories burned from exercise?
