My kids like to take walks with me, or we go out on the grass outside our apartment and run and chase each other and just laugh and have fun. The kids think it's great, without realizing they are getting any exercise at all!

Another thing you could do along with a video is get the medicine balls. Today's ecercise of the day has one where she is sitting on it. You can bounce your son on it (they love that and it gets your arms working) or you can get a smaller one and push it back and forth with your son. It doesn't sound like much but if after you push it too him you lay down and then sit up to "catch" from him it does get a work out. You can also just do some sit up's on it. I have a big on and a small one and my 5 year old will do stuff with me....
My 1 year old loves the ball too cause he like to mess mommy up. I will do push up's with my legs on the ball and it is hard enough with my own weight to balance on it but add a 1 year old or a dog pushing on you and man does it make it hard but fun.

Try exercising with videos with your son my now 3 yr old loves it in the begining she just ran around but now she tries to copy....pick some up from the library and try them to see which one he likes....Good luck
We do Hip hop Abs, elmosize, tae bo, dancing, basic jumping jacks, row row your boat for abs, ect

I would like to find time somehow in my busy life to get some form of exercise in. I have a full time job, take my son to and from daycare, bathe/feed etc with him. I do take the stairs at work just to get a little.
Anyone know of some goo dexercise activities to do with a child that is fun for them but we get a work out? Preferably indoors cause it is HOT and SMOKY outside where I live.
