I would love to join the challenge but I have a couple of questions.

Would I have to post calories burned from the beginning of March until now or just start with today's calories?

With calories burned do you mean how many were burned while exercising or how many total in the day, including calories burned while resting?

I had a good day snowboarding with my son (My DW stayed home with the kids who were too sick to ski). When I got home, my DW was at wits end with the two little ones who desparately needed to nap, so she sent me out on a run with them in the jogger! I am sorry for all the confusion.

First of all, we are tracking calories, not minutes. In most places I wrote the correct word, but I apparently wrote minutes in at least one place. I have edited it and it should be clearer. You are welcome to use either the calories from your Fitbit or any other method of figuring it out - I think Sparkpeople has a TON of options in their Fitness log.

Also, you are not totaling up YOUR calories burned only - you are adding it to everyone else's! I will be back with the corrected total in the next post. I hope this clarifies things!

I am super confised right now with all the numbers and who did what, but if I am correct, our current total is:

5850

Now, the next person will add their new minutes to that to get the new total and so on and so forth.

Great Idea for challenge, I am using the spark tracker calorie counter, I don't have a heart rate monitor so I know its not going to be totally accurate, but here goes....

I don't know how accurate it is, but I always just track my exercises on SP, and go with the calories the Fitness Tracker tells me I've burned.

Granted, this doesn't take into account calories burned doing everyday activities, but I tend to think that detracts from the ultimate purpose of these challenges, anyway.
