i would start of slow, maybe like just try for 10 mins, or even just 5 minutes a day, maybe use a stroller and take a walk this is what i do i load my 10 month old and my 4 year old in the stroller take the two dogs and we go walking i have worked up to at least 3 miles a day. i know its really really hard, i lose myself in taking care of others all the then but you have to make the time for yourself, i found i do have alot more energy when i do exercise and feel alot better. you dont have to do anything fancy just go for a walk or some days i will set a timer for 10 minutes and run through my house like a mad woman pickup things and cleaning as fast as i can and try to get everything done. or you can just blast some music and dance to your favorite song.
I wake up before anyone else in the house and go run before my brain switches on to what I am doing. But I can only do this when DH is home (which is not all the time). Another thing I do is I get my daughter to do some exercises in our living room with me.
We do jumping jacks, run on the spot and some strength training using body weight (I have no fancy equipment or anything) like pushups, sit-ups , squats etc. Then after that we put on her favourite disney song and we dance like crazy together. She loves it and I get in about 20 minutes of exercise which is better than nothing!
I don't know if it's possible, but I get up in the morning before my son is up to get a 45 minute walk on the treadmill before I get ready for work. This way if I don't get anything else done in the day, at least I got something done.
