I have had a terrible week visiting and eating junk, but I go home today, and this morning, I vow to get back on track.

Yes, certain foods will set me off to overeat on that food and everything else. Sounds like you are sensitive to sugar...maybe you can find a new recipe for her to try out...i just saw a recipe for energy bites that looked good with healthy stuff in it like chia seeds, oatmeal...unsweet coconut...

No more cookies...no more cookies. I know moderation and all, but goodness they are trigger foods for me...and my moth in law made more last night. I vow not to eat any today.

Well, maybe you just plan them in for the day...like decide on the "treat" in the morning. I have to choose carefully because a lot of treats will trigger me to overeat on regular food and want more treats of course! Right now I use Chocolate Ovaltine made in hot water as a treat. It doesn't trigger me, it is chocolately but not so great I want more and more and it does have some added vitamins. I stay away from "diet" foods because they've added a bunch of chemicals to take the place of what was removed. I used to do a scoop of real vanilla icecream as a daily treat...vanilla doesn't trigger me, but chocolate icecream definitely does! You just need to find what works for you!

Thanks, it ended up to not being so bad. I have to remember these things will happen. Weight loss is now slow because I can't be so "good"all the time and need some treats!

Finally getting to bed after deep cleaning the house...my DD came home with lice, normally stress like that would make me binge eat...instead I was so busy cleaning that I grabbed a brownie and just finished my calories at midnight. Yuck...long day!

Yesterday started so well...and then it tanked. My son went to visit grandma for a week last night, my brother's girlfriend's son was there visiting for a week and needed a playmate. I'm glad he gets to go and go fishing and have a friend to play with, but his dad was really mean about taking him down (an hour drive away) and also left my daughter home with me just to be mean because he had to make the drive with our son which immediately killed my 4 mile beach walk plans. I hate it when stuff like that happens since I did my whole day based on doing that walk at night when it was cooler (I'm in Florida) and for me to walk that long I purposely didn't go swim or to the gym. That would have been just annoying, but it also meant that I was home and mad and ended up way, way over calories for the day and of course it showed up on the scale this morning like clockwork.

I feel so similar. Summer money always stresses me out, the kris have some very wealthy friends who constantly ask them to the movies or for ice cream etc, and I can't not send them with money and I get tired of telling them no. I love having me around, but wish it wasn't so stressful with the money.

Why is it as soon as I'm doing well, I want to slack off and come up with all kinds of excuses? I feel like I've got the summer blah's with my kids home all day, short on money to keep them entertained...I end up not wanting to do anything.

This morning was reminiscent of Dante's 9th circle. Seriously. First, we were running late for no real reason. Everyone was up, dressed...I'm not sure what the deal was. As we're walking out the door, I notice that my husband forgot to take the trash down. We have a long driveway, so I really didn't have time to take it. So then I go to let the dog out, and he'd had all kinds of accidents--of both kinds. When I swung the door open, it hit one. Then the dog tripped me and I stepped in one (fortunately my shoes didn't have tread for it to stick in!). Then he tried to run off toward the barn. I was NOT chasing him in 15 degree weather, but I was able to catch him while paused and lead him back. Then about 3/4 of the way to my daughter's school, she realized that she left the "pigeon bag" at home. Her classroom has a Moe Willems theme, and she is the Bus Driver of the Week. The bag had a special writing she did to share with the class, so it was pretty important. I dropped her off, then went back home, got the bag and took it to her school. By that time I'd done so much running around that I had to stop and get gas instead of waiting for after school.

Fortunately I had given my college class that meets 1st block an independent study day, so running late to work wasn't a big deal, but oh, my goodness!!! I have never had a morning quite that chaotic. Hopefully the interim will be better, because when I get home I get to deal with the dog mess I had no time for this morning. yuck.

Okay, vent over.

Here's one many of you haven't heard. We (9 year old son, husband, self) were eating dinner last night (pork chops, strawberries, potato, salad) and my son says out of the blue (it was completely silent because we were all thinking about Friday's movie night choice), "Mom, my butt is vibrating." What do you say to that? (Yeah, that what I said to him...sad but true!) We giggled and my husband recommend a plumber and I recommended a doctor if it didn't stop soon. LOL

I send my kids 12, 8,9 and my sisters kids who are 1, and 2 to dance the one I go to also has a moms day out for kids 1-4. my kids love it and while they take there dance class I take a belly dance class down the hall. I don't know if they have anything like that where you live but they might. I would find out what your older kids would like to do then call around you might find a class they will take your youngest

Hard for me to enroll mine in any because of the youngest and the age gap. She is only 2 with the others being 12 and 11. They go to their nanny and papas all the time but the youngest is a handful and don't want to burden my mom with all three. Alot to do in one day that's for sure.

Sorry about your hubby's high blood pressure. I am also sorry you don't get me time. I know the feeling, my husband works odd hours, and sometimes has to be gone for weeks at a time, which means I am with the kids all the time, except when i am working. This summer, I enrolled my two younger kids at the Boys and Girls Club. The program looks really fun for them and it will allow me at least 30 minutes a day by myself. MSTIGGERFAN is there a good kid's program in your area that your kids would want to take part in?

I have found that it makes it worst. I know that I always put myself last. Making sure the kids have things to do. Going outside and playing with them is last only a little while then other thing start to kick in on THAT GIANT NEVER ENDING TO DO LIST. That DH thinks because you don't have to take the kids to school anymore or have all the meeting with teacher and the volunteering you do at the school, that the you have nothing better to do then the hundreds of more things he want you to do. I know they say that the days get longer but I think that is because we have much more to do and the days just drag. emoticon

Way to go on the weight loss. I have not been doing well at all myself due to stress eating. I hope since the kids are now out of school things will get better. Pray I can get myself jump started once again.

Wet & Wild Day today. I know I will get a lot of walking in but I also know I am going to be really board this year. The girls are going to running off with their friends and the adult that I usually hang out with is not coming this year and YEP that make me the OLD PERSON... LOL
Hoping that I don't eat to much junk food. I won't be going on many of the ride Really not into that kind of stuff.

The only thing I can think of is to force yourself to do the good routine one day with healthy eating added in and lots of water. Sometimes going back into it forcefully works.

Goodluck.

Sorry your day went so bad.
I am falling back into bad habits fast. Last night I fell asleep right after dinner. We are talking 6pm. Not getting up until 5. Not sure how to get out of this slump. Getting on here and doing all this isn't helping. ANY IDEAS emoticon

This weekend I bought a new shower curtain. The colors reminded me of the sun set at the beach so I bought it. When I got it home and put it up it had all these phrases on it so I thought I would put them up on the boards this morning; you all could pick one and say why you liked that one : " Then future belongs to those who believe in the their dreams", " What happens happens for a reason", " The best things happens when least expected", " If you can imagine it you can do it", " Live well, Love much, Laugh often", " The secret of getting ahead is getting started", and the last one is " Friendships need no words"
I personally can't pick one I think I need to read each one of these each day.

Today was rough, food wise. Lots of weird food. Made 3 desserts for my niece's get together to announce the sex of her baby. It's her first and my son is the only boy among 11 grandkids, so another boy would be cool.....she's having a boy!!!

We've been trying to clear the fridge out and thus eating some not so compatible things. I did have a big salad for dinner. My numbers had been off because of all the cheese and crackers from the get together, though. Oh, well, Hot Yoga tomorrow and a new day!!

I know how you feel. We took the kids to a movie and frozen yogurt. They didn't get to bed until almost 11pm. They usually get to bed at 8:30pm! That little stinker came in at 6am asking what clothes to wear for the weather!!!!

I know what you mean. There are days when I step on that scale and feel defeated because it's not moving. I get so tired a lot, too. I've fallen asleep on the couch with my hubby watching t.v. often. I exercise often and I think I'm eating well. I think I need to re-evaluate that, too.

Got all my action steps done this week. Yesterday was a really bad day. I sat down to eat dinner and 5 min afterwards I was a sleep. So I did not get to log dinner, blog, catch up on chat board or even get my girls registered for Wet and wild reward party they earned for girl scout.
Weighed in this morning, I think I have hit a platue, I know I am just starting again but I did not lose any weight BUT THE GREAT NEWS IS emoticon I didn't gain weight.

Sorry to hear about your day. I had one of those on Wednesday. I woke to ants in the kitchen, a sore neck and then dropped the gallon of milk. I didn't wash out the rags so the next day the house smelled like a dead something Ugh!!! I showed up that Wednesday to walk with some friends on a 4 mi. walk and they didn't show, so I walk jogged only half of it. Oh well.

Today was better. I did 10 miles on the stationary bike and then 3.5 walk/job on the treadmill. I felt great afterwards and was very sweaty!

I hope your day gets better.

Morning all. Well last night was very interesting. Yes that was the football couch from my kids high school. No none of my kids were involved with the situation but 2 of by boys were on the football team. My daughter who goes there and is getting sworn in to NHS tonight never had him. So I guess I feeling relieved but at the same time not sure what to think. He seem to be a nice enough guy.

Thanks. It's been a few months and we are all adjusting much better. Having 3 right in a row was tough. Grandpa was the hardest one and yet he wasn't . We knew he was older and he had problems. It went fairly quick. He didn't suffer much.

Sorry to hear about your Grandpa. We've had lots of cancer taking lots of friends and family, too. It sucks!!!

Well, it's now May and I have done a lot. I can't say I lost all the weight I gained, but I have toned and strengthened. I took 10 Hot Yoga classes that were amazing last month. I had a Groupon and now that it is over, I am really going to miss it. I can't afford a membership or $16 per class. I guess I will have to try something else new. The kids get out of school soon anyway and I wouldn't be about to do the classes with them in tow.

I hope all are doing well.

I've been sick for almost a month now. I can't seem to shake this cough now. It's almost asthmatic now. I have gained a couple lbs. I tried to do some strength training at home this week. Squats, pushups, crunches and jumping jacks, too. The jacks really winded me. I'm hoping the weekend mends me, but who knows, I thought that last weekend.

I hope everyone else stays/gets well.

HEY guys,
Sorry I have been MIA this week. I have been fighting with the flu this week. I am getting better now and feel like doing stuff now. But I haven't gained any weight this week or lost it. I also haven't kept track of what I have been eating. I have been mainly feeding my cold and only been eating twice per day.

I hope everyone has a good day or night.

Until later,

Sharon

Hi guys,

We did have a good time at the Chinese Restraunt. We filled our tummies and my Ison had fun talking Spanish to our waiter. He is learning Spanish in school and when he didn't know a word he would ask in Spanish what does that mean.

Today was a stressful day at school. The class room I was helping in, one of the girls left the room without permission and when I and another person went looking for her we couldn't find her anywhere. The teacher had told her no to going to the restroom. She came to me after the teacher left and asked if she could go to the restroom. I told her that I wasn't in charge. To asked the other teacher who was in charge.

The main teacher was upset when she came back after a conference to find out the student wasn't in the class room.

I did get in 70 ounces of water today though.

I hope everyone has a good day with whatever you do.

Well, it sounds like 2012 isn't being very nice. I have another memorial service to attend this coming weekend for the mom of a childhood friend. She was like a second mom when we were growing up. She had cancer and was only 62.

Hopefully things will get better soon.

Sorry I have been MIA from the team this week. My husband woke up 2:30 AM on Thursday night/Friday morning with acute pain on the left side. He was thinking that it is an appendix. I told him that the appendix is on the right side of the body and not the left. I ended up taking him to the ER at 4:30 along with my son. I am the type of mother who is not going to leave her 11year old boy home alone. He would be worried out of his mind if he woke up and we were not here. The doctor said that it was a kidney stone and that there is another one forming in the kidneys. So the doctor sent Steve home at 7AM with some pain pills. I put my son back to bed and told him that he could go to school at noon.

There is something called "Ladies Workout Express Circuit Training". I use it whenever I do circuit training classes. Who knows if it is exactly and it will never be because you would have to know your age weight and heart rate throughout, but close enough.

I got to put in 15 min. of brisk walking I never would have imagined. It rained here so I happened to be at the mall picking up something and the store hadn't opened up yet so I walked around briskly like I used to.

We had a rough weekend....a funeral for our Aunt. She was only 49 and it was a car accident. I'm glad to be home and hopefully things will get started into a routine since we got a new puppy on Dec. 29th.

I hope the new year is treating everyone well.

Hi guys,
I went to the fitness center this morning after taking my son to school. I worked out on the cardio machines for one hour. Then took my son back with me to the fitness center after school and participated in my first circuit training class for one hour. I don't know exactly how to track the circuit training class. I figure that it is probably cardio but we did also used dumb weights to. So I am probably going to feel it tomorrow.

I hope everyone has a good evening with whatever you do.

Wow! what an ordeal. My daughter asked to be homeschooled, too, when she was having a rough time with her homework. We selected this town when she was 6 mo. old because we heard they had a great school system. We pay decent taxes for it, too.

Kids!

Hope everyone has an amazing weekend.

Hope everyone is having a good day so far. Today is the first day this week that I have the house all to myself. My son yesterday hid my keys yesterday and I didn't have any ideal where they were. So I told him to stay in his room until he will tell me or show me where my keys are. I told him that he ought to be happy that I don't work anywhere because if I did I would probably be fired over this. Robert finally came out with the keys at noon. I told him okay get dressed he is going to school. Robert started in again that what is the use to going for 1/2 a day because he is already tardy. I called the school and ask if they could get Robert's work together and came up and picked it up. So we came back home and had Robert get started on the work. It took him till 1 AM getting his work. He came to me at 11 pm and said that he doesn't know how to turn fractions into percentages. I told him to google it on the internet and see if you can get the answer. He came back in at 11:30 and said that he couldn't find an answer. So I googled it and found a website that explained it to 3rd grade level. So I had him look at the video and see if he could understand it. He said I got it so I'll have it done in 1 hour. Robert asked why I couldn't homeschool him since I know where to go on the internet for the answers. I told him no that we pay taxes for you to get a good education.

Hope everyone is having a good week with your weight loss journey.

We got a puppy, mostly for our 7 year old who has been asking for about 3 years, but we didn't think it was the right time. I still am not sure about that one. I stay at home, but volunteer at the school and run errands. I also work out at the gym and am gone for 2 hrs. At the end of their December schooling I volunteered in their Santa's Cottage at school all week, which is a place the kids can go buy gifts from $1-$10 for friends and family and they can get it wrapped, too. In between that time I went to the gym, went to the shelters, ran errands like shopping and tried to go their class parties, too. I was gone pretty much each day from 8am to 3pm each day. It has been an interesting experience. She is a really good puppy and very cute, too. Last night she slept all night!!! 12:30am to 7am!!! Thank-you Brownie

Happy New Year everyone!

Sounds like a wonderful time. And Happy Birthday Sharon!!! :)

I didn't fare as well as I planned against the sweets, but I did bring my own cereal, some yogurt, fiber powder, lettuce, cheese, salsa and wheat tostitos. I had two great 25 minute jogs Christmas Eve and Christmas mornings!!!! I've never done that here at the in-laws before and especially wouldn't have done that in the cold. There was a cream cheese carrot dip last night and then tonight my MIL bought Marie Callender's Turtle pie, oh my. Bacon mashed taters are too good to resist.

Tomorrow will be a good day. I have salad, yogurt and chips and salsa. I can eat chili, too.

I hope you guys enjoy the rest of your vacations.

Merry Christmas everyone. I hope all is well with family and friends. Our Christmas stay on the highest point in Arkansas has been adventureous for the whole family. We started our weekend out in the suite getting settled in and making a fire to hang the stockings over. Then on the 24 my son and I went exploring a trail that lead from the front of the lodge to a cliff on a high point of the trail. Then we woke up and Robert opened gifts. We set out exploring again and this time went down an Easy trail according to the pamplet. The main part of the trail was easy to walk on but when you head off to explore the swimming pool that was built in 1938 the terrain was rough. There wasn't much of the pool left and the diving board has almost disappeared except for the footings. The house was almost unreconizabe except for the large hole where the basement was. We came back exhausted after walking 6 miles to see this. We met up with my husband and we went to the Christmas buffet where the massive table of empty calories as I call the deserrt table. But the fireplace the hostest seated us by was pretty. We are having a good time playing the WII this afternoon and resting up for tomorrow. My son and husband have plans to take me to Olive Garden for my birthday in the morning. I hope everyone has an Amazing Merry Christmas with whatever you do. You can see the pictures by going to my blog on the visit to Mt. Magazine State Park.

I'm sure you'll do fine. They will understand that this is your first time in a while and you may be a bit rusty, if not, then who cares what they think. I have really gotten into that thinking. My husband got me thinking that way and yet he forgets to do that himself.

Good luck and remember to have fun! :)

We are headed to St. Louis today to redeem a coupon at a bookstore and then who knows. Hubby and I are still looking for a dog for my daughter, but can't do that with her.

Have a great Winter (1st day is today).

Went to the fitness center yesterday and worked out with the class. Then I went and waited for Robert to get done getting his workout done with the trainer. Then we came home and worked in the house for 40 minutes. Now I have to go out again to the bowling alley and pre bowl for tomorrow because I have been asked to take over the Silver Sneakers Class at the Fitness center today. The person that is doing the 10:30 class is left yesterday for Christmas vacation. She won't be back til Tuesday. I told the owner that yes I can do the class for Today but cannot on Monday because we will be coming back from the Mountains in the afternoon. He said just tell the class in the morning that we are canceling the class for Monday. This is my first time to teach a fitness class so I am kind of nervous. I just hope I will do good. I used to teach weight watchers classes when I lived in Russellville. But that was 10 years ago. I was let go from there because I was pregnant and WW didn't want someone who would be gaining weight to tell others how to lose weight. I have to say though that I only gained 12 pounds with Robert. I'll let you know how today goes.

Hope everyone has an emoticon day with whatever you do.

Woke up early to get ready for church. Cooked breakfast and son came into the kitchen complaining of an sore throat. I told him I would get him an allergy pill. My husband woke up complaining that he is freezing and not feeling good. I guess I will miss church two weeks in a row. We still have plans to make the Christmas Eve Service on the 22 then go up on the Mountain on the 23. But if either one of them are still not feeling good on the 22nd then I guess I will call and cancel the registration. My husband asked me to order pizza so that I would not have to cook and have more time to take care of him and my son. I told him okay. I am happy to say that I only had two slices of pizza and one bread stick. My son has been helping me this afternoon washing dishes and around the house. I hope everyone else is having a good day with whatever you do.

Yesterday the kids and I went to a party with some mini quiche and lots of sweet treats, oh and grapes. I tried a bite of a couple sweet treats, but was proud that I didn't finish them. I ate probably 4 mini quiche, the spinach ones, and some grapes. I went home afterwards and ate some of my brown rice grilled veggie Chipotle bowl.

Then at 4pm we went to a cookie exchange. Cookies galore, yes I indulged, but if I didn't like it, I gave the other half to hubby or kids. I had lots of green bell peppers and dip, some guac. and some unsauced smoked pork (YUM). Oh, I also had some of my own chili cheese dip. I know I overate, but didn't feel gorged, which was good.

Today the brunch we went to had an amazing spinach salad with bacon, blue cheese, red onions (in the last batch) and a great poppyseed vinegar dressing. I had 5 plates of it. Everything else was minimal, even the desserts I ate were small.

I am glad to have people who would invite us to celebrate with them, but I am also glad I had the will power to see the good and stop eating the bad.

We go to my husband's soon and there is no good so I have to bring my own. Thanksgiving was not pretty.

I hope all are strong at their parties this season!!

Thursday I went bowling with some ladies and had a blast at it. Then I went to two Christmas Parties and had fun. Ate too much but it is only a once a year celebration. Then I came home and worked for 2 hours cleaning.

Friday I went to the fitness center and worked out for 2 1/2 hours then came home and did some house cleaning for 2 1/2 hours.

Today I have enjoyed having my son home for Christmas break. We challenged each other on WII bowling and have also done some cleaning for 40 minutes.

Hope everyone has a good evening with whatever you do and stay safe.

You are trying to make better choices for yourself, Sharon, and that is a start. My hubby complains he has a belly, but eats desserts EVERY night. He works like a crazy man on the stair machine (only) and sweats a lot on it, but doesn't do jogging, walking or any other thing except maybe some lifting. His legs are awesome. He is the one who buys the candy, too.

I am good unless it's chocolate and nuts. My weakness for sure. LOVE THEM.

Hang in there,

hugs,

I am also having problems staying in the calorie range. But it has to do with husband bringing home my favorite snack cakes. He is over 350 calories and isn't trying to lose weight. He thinks that he is helping but in reality he is doing me more harm than good. With that said, I started off the day on a positive note. I took Robert to school then headed over to the fitness center for an appt with my personal trainer 2 1/2 hours. She had me tired when I was done. She said that tomorrow is my day off since they are having a Christmas potluck at noon. She would like for me to alternate the strength training machines with a circuit training class twice a week. I hear that the class is brutle.

I hope everyone has a good evening with whatever you do.

Thanks for asking. He is doing better. He still wakes with so much mucus. I am giving him Benadryl all day to try to dry him out. I got slightly better then a lot worse so went to the doc and am on a Z-pac now. Hopefully, better soon.

I carry my water bottle around EVERYWHERE I go. It holds 3 C. I also wake up and drink a little over 1C and then have my 10 oz orange juice and 1 C milk (those count). I then usually go through two of my water bottles a day so that is about 10 C all day.

How was everybody's Halloween? Abby was a vampire and Ben was Batman. I think many kids must have gone to trunk or treat or other organized places because I heard lots of folks talking about not seeing as many out. It's not like it was that cold or rainy where we were. Hmmmm. That had a good time, though.

Happy Sparking everyone!

Hope your son gets better soon Melanie. How did his field trip go? Where did he end up going for it?

I am in my mid 2nd week, and i feel alot better than i started. Just i seem to struggle with water in take. I really need to get that 8 glasses as a minimum , what methods do the rest of you do to get in that 8 glasses of water?

Well, we ended up not carving pumpkins last night. My 6 year old came home reading and with lots of energy and then all of a sudden said "Mom, I think I brought something home, I'm tired." and he cuddled up on the couch and fell asleep. He slept for almost an hour. We then went and got some sandwiches at Penn Station for dinner and he seemed better. Still lots of boogies and a hoarse voice like me, but not as tired.

Poor guy went to a field trip today with a pack of tissues around his neck in a water pack. I hope he does ok. OOOOh, crap. I was going to give him some more Benadryl this morning and I forgot because he kept taking so long to eat and blow his nose. Ugh!

Well, I hope all are well.

Hi guys,

Sorry I have not been on for a while. I have missed talking to you guys. Our internet modem went out with the last lightening storm that we had come through. Our internet provider came by yesterday and replaced the modem and uped the signal to the box. So I am hoping that it doesn't go down again. I hope everyone has a good Halloween with your kids or grandkids. I have joined a Ladies Bowling League and enjoyed the first week talking with the ladies and getting to know them. Tomorrow is the last day of school this week for my son. We have parent teacher conferences tomorrow night then the teachers have an in service day on Friday.

I wish everyone a good weekend with whatever you do.

Welcome! I think we all have been pretty busy lately. It's that time of year. I got sick recently and have been taking some time to chill from exercising. It's killing me. I am used to going at it 5X a week and now I can't. Hopefully, not much longer.

Well, I need to stuff some goody bags for my kids' school parties on Monday. Busy weekend. I think we should carve pumpkins tonight or tomorrow, too. Ugh, it all snuck up on me.

Happy Halloween and happy sparking everyone.

Hi everyone,

I hope everyone has had a good week so far. Over the Thursday and Friday day vision and hearing clinic we ran 900 kids through. I walked all over the three schools all day today. It is a mile from the Jr. High to the upper Elementary. So I figured that I walked a total of 8 miles taking kids to and from each station. I also dranked 68 oz of water all day. This next week we have a two day Flu shot clinic. So I will probably will be walking another 8 miles again on both days. I guess I don't need to go to the fitness center if I keep it up. Yesterday my son's bowling took 3 out of 4 games away from the teens.

I hope everyone has a good Sunday with whatever you do.

We took the kids pumpkin picking today at Eckert's in Belleville. Man are they pricey! 49 cents a lb. I know it's the experience and it was fun riding on the dusty exhaust ridden wagon and picking burrs off my husband....I mean watching the kids watching the kids say "this is the one, no this is the one, WOW, look at that one...", but goodness, Aldi has them for $2.49!!!! I enjoy watching the kids dig in the giant barrels with their feet sticking in the air trying to get the biggest one or funniest looking one. My mom used to take me to Walmart or the base and one time even took my picture sticking out of the cardboard box looking for a pumpkin.

It was almost $15 for 3 pumpkins at Eckerts and it would have been $7.50 at Aldi. Oh, did I forget, I also had to pay $5 per child to have them have Pumpkin day at school next week. Yes, I could not pay and they could still get juice and a cookie, but how many kids are going to be left out. What would those kids feel like just sitting there and not getting to bring a pumpkin home like everyone else.

Well, it's all done and they will have plenty of pumpkins to look at and enjoy for Halloween!

What do you guys do for your little ones?

It must be pound losing week....of course, I lost because I was sick after doing a trial 5K and then getting a massage. I think maybe the massage released some toxins. I've been doing jogging quite a bit at the gym and been doing fine. I would down and out from 12:30pm to 6am and then didn't feel like eating normal from Tuesday through even today! Ugh.

I did do kettle bells today and was not too bad. Got a little nauseous, though.

I hope you guys have a great weekend. My kids might get to play with some friends, so that is always wonderful. I like to see them happy.

This week, the kids went back to school from fall break, so it's been crazy!! But my daughter is now on fall break at her dance studio- so not as crazy as it could be. My husband was finishing up training on his new job and I've been sick/in pain.

Hi guys,
I have been busy this week with family in from Arizona and my having a sleep over. Then today and tomorrow I am schedule to work at the school. We are doing vision and hearing testing this week. Next week we have a mass clinic for the flu shots going on all week. Maybe after all of this things will get back to normal and I can go back to working out 2 hours per day. I have lost 2 more pounds this week. This makes only 40 pounds til I hit my goal weight. I also completed the water intake of 96 oz. I hope everyone has a good day with whatever you do. Make it count.

Sounds like some wonderful news about your family, Sharon! I've always wondered if my husband would fare well on Jeopardy. He knows a lot a useless and some useful things, too.

Your lbs. down is still a good thing. Congrats. maybe you reshaped with muscle. At any rate, keep up the great work, it will keep paying off!

I'm off to kettle bells. Maybe it will let off some steam, the kids are driving me nuts this morning.

Hi everyone,
I spent 90 minutes yesterday at the fitness center working out. Today I spent 2 hours working out. I took my son tonight to his martial arts class. He did make it in the 6th grade pull out chior. I told him I was proud of him. Robert also took the kids jepodary online test last night. We will see if he gets picked for the second round or not. I lost 2 pounds this week. I thought it would be more because of all the time I have put in at the fitness center. I hope everyone has a good day with whatever you do.
