Ok I started back this week and I have been doing pretty good. Mon 15 min elliptical & 40 min walk-over on cal and fat though Tues 15 min elliptical- over on cal. Hanging in there regardless the set backs

A few more days to New Years! How is everyone doing?

Hey guys, I have made a decision that for this week I am going to just try to make good choices but after the holidays are over its back to work. I fell off the wagon once again this last week, and I have dearly paid for it. I am praying that the gain isn't permanant. So my plan is to just watch it and take it easy this week and not worry about tracking, but then hit it hard and heavy starting next week! I use to do a challenge that was calories burned and they havent had it but that was very motivatingwish that I could find another one! I had gotten down to 190. one pound away from my current mini goal, but now as of today i am up to 200 in just under 1 1/2 weeks. How it happened that quick I have NO idea! So next week its back to work!

You go Melodieo!!! I know what you mean about making the drop to 189- it feels good just to see the number drop to something you haven't seen in awhile- it is inspiring and makes you feel like all the work is worth it and it pushes you to keep going. Good luck.
I have re-adjusted my goal. I am realizing that tracking food really messes with my whole pysche about food. I am reading Bethenny Frankel's book Naturally Thin and it is helping me re-adjust my ideas. I think tracking food has been good for me this year because I have adjusted portions and am starting to remember how I used to like to eat and why...as in the right reasons! I am going to weigh in after Christmas. I feel like I have been doing pretty good overall with managing food this month...I have only had a few days that were over my usual food limits, and I made a few great choices. I was at a buffett dinner and I ended up only eating salad because the other choices were ones I didn't want to "spend" my calories on. If you knew me, you'd know how impressive that really was!!!!

Yest. was the first day that I stayed on track in forever and I am so proud that I did it! I also worked out 10 min on the elliptical so I am taking little steps but hanging in there with my challenge

I would like to workout 6 nights a week 15 min a night. Would love to see the 180's even if its 189!

I would like to consistently work out 6 days a week. My goal is to walk at least 30 mins a day and strength train 2-3 days a week.

I would love to track my food every day in December- including the actual holiday and on party days. I'd like to go through December without gaining weight. The food part is my weakness, but I know I can't do it all on exercise alone (wish I could!). I also want to try out some new healthy cookie recipes so we can have some sweets for the holidays without all the high calorie and high fat options.

I want to lose 5 more lbs by Thanksigiving, and then 10 lbs between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Over Christmas week, I want to just maintain my weight :-). If I can achieve that, I will only have 15 more lbs to lose to reach my final weight loss goal by Spring Break next year! (I want to take my family to the beach!)

On New Year's I want to be at my 133.5 weight or lower - that means NO WEIGHT GAIN over the holidays and I want to dance with my husband on New Year's Eve which hasn't happened in decades!

I want to lose 3 inches around my thighs. I have lost 1/2 an inch so far 2.5 to go. 20 inch thighs here I come!
