I danced through our Friday family movie (the Beegee's version of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band), instead of sitting. So much fun! The boys even joined me several times.

Going to do crunches, upper body weights, & stretches while watching a ghost show that my husband likes. We get some time together after the boys are asleep, and I still get in fitness time!

I used the downstairs bathroom to include some stairs in my day instead of using the upstairs one.

I danced with my sons at their school's hoe down on Friday night. Calf raises in the shower yesterday, plus stretching & upper body weights while discussing my husband's day with him late last night. Danced around while ironing today, and will play with the kids at the neighborhood barbecue later today.

I walked down to the basement at work on Thursday, and on Friday I walked around my local shopping centre (actually did the same on Thursday night) and went the long way.

carried 6 two liters to my van in my arms! I'm surprised I managed without dropping them. I also walked the boxes from the order one at a time to where they belonged.

I walked up and down the outside stairs at work today, which is the longer way to go. I also walked around my work place several times to locate people, rather than emailing them. I even parked further away from my gym rather than taking the closest park I could have.

I cleaned out the garage yesterday- reorganized some boxes, swept, loaded up donations. I bruised my ankle in the process (poor judgement decision of using a stool vs a ladder) but was still able to run afterwards.

Killing to birds with one stone
As an librarian assistant keeping the books on the bottom shelves straight at the same time doing squats. Calf raises for the books on the higher shelves. And plenty of standing crunches in between

I have a lifted keyboard tray at my desk so I can stand most of the day instead of sitting so I burn a little extra calories. It makes me move around more too and I have seen a huge difference in my posture and my energy level at the end of the day. more productive work wise too because i don't feel as lazy!! I also do desk push ups twice a day.

great job guys! Wow, this challenge is really going to be a success. I went grocery shopping yesterday. I did the PnW (Park & Walk) in the drizzling rain lol. Then went shopping with my cousin and helped tote the baby around.

Calf raises (I think that's what they're called) in the shower. Plies (spelling?!) while making meals & doing dishes. Lots of extra steps by doing "inefficient work" (taking laundry down in small armfuls instead of baskets, etc.).

This one's a piece of cake. It's time for fall clean up here in N. California. There's the summer garden to rip up. That means lots of squats. Leaves are starting to fall. Raking is a good upper body exercise. The wind is blowing, so lots of dust up high to clean up. This one means stepping up and down on my step ladder. Lucky I enjoy the Fall !!!

Let's see...organized baby's room, did shoulder presses with my 3 month old as my weight, danced with my 4yo, and raced up and down the stairs with my 7yo. I'm trying to take cues about exercise from my kids.

Today at work I was changing out an endcap of the big 96 oz apple juices. I carried two at a time up the aisle to their new spot. While walking I would lift one straight up then bring it down and do the other. We moved about 200 of them today. It was quite a workout.
