I understand.However I never count walking as any part of my cardio.My cardio consists of gardening,weed eating,heavy cleaning & my daily workouts.Thanks for the advice.

OK. I didn't mean to say that walking from room to room, etc counts as cardio becuz it definitely doesn't. I meant to say that, if it is counted, then it could very well come up to 10,000 calories a week. Altho, doubtful.

I think a great place for this question would be on the message boards. Maybe a coach would answer and give his/her opinion.

I would ask the question "What exactly are you counting" as your cardio workout. If what you do actually raises your heart rate then yes it needs to be counted.....unfortunately I don't think walking from room to room etc. really raises your heart rate....now on a high note....You are doing a FANTASTIC job getting your cardio in each day and you are getting closer and closer to meeting (and most likely beating) your goal....so maybe just this once....give your hubby a bone and let him win this one! emoticon - Dawnmarie70

R&M, I don't think it's really possible, either. Looking at it this way, you'd have to burn OVER 1,000 a day-like 1,400. That's a LOT of cardio!

I think the only way to REALLY be sure is to use a HRM.

But I'm also thinking that if EVERYTHING is counted-and not just cardio-like, walking from room to room, sitting down, doing dishes, etc. Then, yeah, maybe.

But as far as cardiovascular workouts, I don't think so.

Anyone else have an opinion??

I have a question for everyone,this might be dumb but here it goes.My husband & I were argueing last night about calories.He says that its NOT possible to burn 10,000 calories in 1 wk. with the exersise that I do & I say it is.Who's right? I normally go by what my page tells me I burn,but how do you really know how much you burn in a day?

6/24 - 0 (I have to bow out for about 3+ weeks - I popped a tendon in my left foot......I went to the doctors today and she has informed me I am off my foot completely for 5 days and then they will examine it to see where the popped tendon is....then they will give me a diagnose of what comes next.....hopefully they will find it can heal on it's own.....Keep your fingers crossed for me fellow Sparkers! Good luck to all of you.....Keep up the great work and NEVER GIVE UP!

6/25 - 60 (I am going to give myself 60 minutes for the day - walking on crutches is not as easy as it looks and it does give your upper body a work out! LOL
