Thank you so much for sharing the website. I found it very interesting and helpful. I may consider getting a chapter started in Alaska!

I think any age is too young for cancer. I was 52 when I was diagnosed.

I tried to search the forums here and from what I can see no one has brought up the amazing "I'm Too Young For This!" Cancer Organization (i2y). It was founded by and for young adults affected by cancer and is the nation's largest support community for the next generation of patients, survivors and caregivers between 15-40.
There are national chapter across the country. I just started the one in San Diego, Ca. For us in San Diego we'll be getting together monthly at first for community, camaraderie, to talk and relate and have fun most importantly.
The organization also just recently launch their own forum. There you can also find other who have gone through what we have all gone through and realize that we are not alone. There are sub forums by cancer type, stage of treatment or post treatment, off topic nonsense and everything else in between even a live chat. That chemo brain and your forgetfulness ... it's not just you! It's me too! And apparently almost everyone else on the forum. So please come join our conversation too.
