can't help you on those supplements. But I do want to encourage you if you are not already to measure each month. I got discouraged and almost quit because of the scale and I new I had to be losing. So someone suggested measuring also. If you are exercising intensely then you are probably gaining muscle as you are losing fat in just the right proportion that the scale doesn't show it. Measuring helps me see the inches and that I am changing for the better whether the scale says so or not. Also if you are burning a great deal of cals working out make sure you are eating enough. not eating enough can stump your weight loss. Just some thoughts, you may have heard or thought of already. Good luck!
"When you want your goal badly enough, feel the intensity of it, let it fuel your waking thoughts and actions, let it influence you in all ways possible and let nothing get in the way of achieving it" -Kimberly Adamson
Just wondering if anyone out there is taking L-Carnitine and/or Alpha-Lipoic Acid to help with their PCOS. I'm trying some supplements along with some diet changes (I already exercise intensely, and unfortunately haven't really lost more than a pound in 4 months) to see if something gives. I'm pretty sure I'm insulin resistant, and those supplements are reported to reduce insulin resistance, so I'm trying them out. I hope this works! I just want to see the scale going in the right direction again is all. :-/
