I use a mix of Aveda (haircare, makeup), Desert Essence (face wash), Jaason (skincare), Trader Joe's (veg-based body bars) and brand like Alba (lotion, SPF). You'll find a lot of great options for low-cost at Trader Joe's as well as some great ones at Whole Foods. Good luck!

I like Lush, they have a ton of vegan stuff and never test on animals or buy from people who do. Plus they're interested in reducing packaging-- including not using any at all! I love their solid shampoo bars, which come either naked or in little compostable bags.

"Even the longest journey must begin where you stand." -Lao-Tzu
"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you: For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?" Matthew 7:7-10

Hi! If you're looking for something pre-made, check out applevalleynaturalsoap.com
I use their shampoo and body bars when I want something a little more luxurious than baking soda and a dry brush rub. They just introduced a line of skincare items with argan oil and other essential oils (priced right vs. sourcing your own bulk oils, but I haven't tried because I'm not even halfway through the 1oz Aura Cacia Argan oil I bought). If you're looking for a good source for manageable amounts of coconut oil, shea butter and the like, check out mountainroseherbs.com
tropicaltraditions.com is good for coconut-type things, but it's taking me F O R E V E R to get through my gallon (eating, baking and putting it on our skin!). So, if you're looking for a good source for MANAGABLE amounts of coconut oil, shea butter and the like, check out mountainroseherbs.com

I use coconut oil for moisturizing my body, hair, and scalp. It's also a great eye makeup remover.

I use Dr. Bronner's soap for skin and shampoo. No conditioner needed! And then I apply either almond oil or coconut oil as moisturizer. Mineral powder for makeup/eye shadow and I found some great hemp lipstick at Whole Foods!

I use baking soda and apple cider vinegar on my hair and homemade cold process soap on my skin along with coconut oil as a moisturizer afterwards.

I use Green Beaver for body care.
Pure Anada for make up. Both are Canadian (so am I)
OPI nails, they don't have all the same bad stuff that the 'organic' brands don't.
Be careful about Kiss My Face and Body Shop. Despite the rep for being clean, they actually contains some toxic stuff.

Anyone have any vegan, cruelty-free beauty products they love? I'm trying to replace all my skincare, hair care, makeup, etc with animal-free products. Thanks!
