That's my point though. Because it's hitting mainstream more people will learn about it and demand change. If it stays in the fringes it won't get out there and we'll just be going in circles because the vast majority of the population won't know or even care about what we're talking about because they've never heard about it from an outside source.

Actually, darn it all, studies have been being done for quite some time. It's only recently that the "news" has hit the mainstream. Mother Earth News, as cool as that magazine is, (I love it) is still basically a mass market, commercial rag that has to be careful as to how and when it prints stuff so as not to stir things up before they believe it's acceptable to their main customer base. Sometimes I really think us guys here on these teams are ahead of the pack with what we are finding out and telling each other...stay tuned!

And keep posting this stuff!

Hospitals are terrific for traumatic care; for acute care. They do a really, really good job in saving lives when it’s a sudden bleeding emergency. But in terms of chronic care, they’re terrible; (that is) in terms of the illnesses that most people have, endure, that cost the most money, that last the longest and ultimately die from. -Dr. Andrew Saul

Yesterday I received my Mother Earth News magazine and the first article was about GMOs. Finally studies are being done that show that they aren't good for us. www.motherearthnews.com/Sustainable-

SnowyOwl, I ask the same thing. How long? How long? How bad will things get? Will we suffer more? Will our kids and grandkids be completely denied real food? How far will the corruption go? Will we eventually have to rely on underground food sources? We are already doing that at some levels...bother!!
But at least we still can make choices and make our voices heard. We can educate our children and each other (just like what we are doing here--where is everybody?)
Thanks for the post!

This is daunting. I think about this all the time and really feel helpless to the "Patenting of Life" that seems to be the Monsanto practice. How can anything be changed. I realize I can make a difference with how I choose to spend my money but how terrible do things have to be in order for laws to change?

For lack of a better title. LOL. I have this long, well researched article about GMOs and exactly what the issues are with them. I figured a lot of you would be interested in it.

One of my friends, who is kind of pro-GMO tried to argue his point on FB so I have lots more info too that I looked into if anyone has any questions.
