Agreed! Thanks for bringing this up. One idea would be to ditch the cards and disposable boxes and go with a cool, lasting gift. I like to buy art prints for occasions like this, and I think I may do something similar this year.

Valentines Day is, let's face it, a waste of paper! Billions of cards get tossed around at schools and between lovers. Chocolates come in elaborate cardboard boxes. I plan on simply having a night in with my hunny, with some local dinner and maybe a movie. What are you doing to make Valentines Day Eco-Friendly?
