Make sure you're pairing complex carbs with some form of protein, at least every 3 hours or so. Whole grain crackers and peanut butter, half a turkey sandwich, a slice of cheese with some fruit, etc. The carbs give your blood sugar a bit of a boost, and the fiber from the whole grains plus the protein will help keep your blood sugar stable for longer than just carbs alone would.

I've been experiencing what I think are low blood sugar episodes, what can I do to come out of those quickly or better yet avoid them?
