I read some information on it and it sounds promising. I'm not a doctor, so I can't recommend anything, but you can always ask for a second opinion from another endo. Good Luck!

Hey out there in SparkLand. Last week I got OFFICIALLY diagnosed with PCOS. *Though that is what some doctors had thought for a few years now, so it wasn't a COMPLETE shock*
So I went to the endocrinologist and he put me on Metformin, Tri-low birth control and SUDDENLY out of NOWHERE he prescribes me an INJECTION!
It's called Liraglutide and has recently been approved by the FDA here in the states and has had some good results in Europe. However, it is still a new drug and I am TERRIFIED to start taking it.
Does anyone have ANY knowledge about this? Any experience at all? If so, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help!
